Chloe doing this for him kills me. I'm seriously tearing up just writing about it. She knows where he's going, she has seen his throne in hell. More than that, she knows what hell has done to him, how lonely he has felt for millenia, how difficult it has been for him to come back from this.

And although knowing she won't see him for years kills her, she knows how this is going to be so much harder for him. Because she'll have her friends, her family, their daughter, but he'll be alone. So she tells him she'll be by his side. Always.
