Two shows coming up

SIP 'N 'POUR - Starting at 1:00 PM Sunday at Scotland Yard (187 St Paul St.). This is a benefit for Missy Brown, who needs a double lung transplant. I'm playing at 2:00. 

Featured set at the Pillar - Monday 1/19, details available per request. This the second installment of a monthly event series, both by and for musicians. I'll be playing a short set, holding a Q&A about my songs/process, and leading a jam. It's a small room, so please email me directly if you are interested in attending.

I'm part of the team that produces Instant Album every year. The concept (in brief) is that participants are drafted into a band by random drawing every hour.Each new band has one hour to write a song in a practice room, then one hour to record it in a mobile studio room.

This year (today) we're moving the party to Record Archive for the first time. If you're in the Rochester area, come down, check it out, and maybe record a song!

New Close Calls shirts!

Hey everybody! We're proud to announce that we've finished our first music video, Song for the Lion Tamers. We did pretty much everything in one wild night at Bluebrick Recordings with Jesse Sprinkle at the controls. Every shot is us tracking live. Matt Avery handled the video work, even after we blew up his computer trying to get it finished.

In addition, here are some upcoming solo tour dates:

May 17 – Montreal, QC – Pouzzafest (Acoustic BBQ Show @ Katacombes at 3:30pm)
