When my mother forgets a word, she is the queen of coming up with new words. Words that would take a third National Treasure movie to fully decipher. I was talking to her yesterday, and she said this: “You know the time for los jibbities is coming up. You must be so excited!” Oh, is it time for los jibbities already? I must have missed it on my calendar. Are we celebrating something? “Of course! We should all be celebrating, shouldn’t we?” OK, so los jibbities is a happy thing. It’s not like something is giving you the heebie-jeebies, which would have been my one and only guess. “Los heebie-jeebies? Now you’re making things up...and this is my show.” You’re right. The time for los jibbities is coming up. Is this a season? “Yes, the season for love. The season for pride.” OK, los jibbities. “Yeah, sound it out.” Los…jibbities. It's Hikaru no Go Day, so I wanted to share my Hikago-themed bullet journal spread for May~! I'm really happy with it, and I thought there might be a few more people who'll appreciate it here than some other places >.>

I used the same font as the English HnG volumes, and the game diagrams are all from various games throughout the manga:

Cover: Hikaru (Sai) v. Toya Meijin (ch 101, Shinshodan game) combined with some basic opening joseki

Week 1: Hikaru v. Sai (ch 125, it's the one that happens on 5/5 :p ); sai v. toya koyo (ch 113, 'net Go)

Week 2: Akira v. Sai (ch 35, 'net Go); Hikaru v. Yashiro (ch 165, although the full kifu is also at the end of 177; the crosscut at the tengen <3 this is my favorite game in the series <3)

Week 3: Hikaru (Sai) v. Akira (ch 6, second game, they're just little babies aljksks)

Week 4: Hikaru v. Akira (ch 147, their first real game); Hikaru v. Suyong Hong (ch 76, the key point that turns the game around)

For most of them, I didn't pick any particularly special parts of the game, just a group of stones that looked nice and fit in the area they needed to fit in, but I did pick a couple groups for their significance (Yashiro, Suyong).

Had a solid continuous 28 minutes of energy and motivation to do something, but I couldn't choose what to pick up that I could work on, so I spent the whole 28 minutes trying to decide, and then it wore off. Back to eepy.

So there's a medication called hyaluronidase. It's used to make other medications absorb better, because it makes the cell wall more permeable.

One common usage is to make local anesthetic more effective during surgery, for instance. It's used in a number of injected medications.

Bee stings contain an enzyme very similar to this medication, so sometimes, people with bee allergies have an allergic reaction to hyaluronidase.

This is called cross-reactivity, where your body mistakes something for the thing it's actually allergic to, and has an allergic reaction anyway. For instance, sometimes people with latex allergies also are allergic to bananas and other fruits. They don't actually contain latex, but there are some similar proteins.

Apparently, hyraluronidase used in humans is derived from one of four sources: sheep testicles, cow testicles, cow testicles again, and GMO hamster ovaries.

tl;dr: They won't inject you with bees, but they might inject you with purified cow testicle juice, and your body might say 'eh, cow balls are BASICALLY bees' and try to kill you anyway.
