Hopefully tumblr has calmed down a little and will stop flagging my daily doggo drawings, because man is that ridiculous. ANYWAY. Ive been commissioned for a large 16x20 pet portrait for the holidays and Ive been given a blurry photo with a severe angle as my reference image for what they want. Ive dogsat these good boys before so thats no issue but in order to make sure I get the foreshortening right Ive made a line drawing grid traced straight off the photo to help me get started on the painting.

My friend gave me a couple sets of blank nesting dolls so look what Ive done with the first set! Just gotta paint on the faces and clear coat them.
