So here’s how this conversation with my brain went

My brain, at one in the morning: queerplatonic moxiety soulmate au.

Me: sir I am in the middle of a puzzle.

Fast forward to this morning-

Me: alright, I’ve decided to give your queerplatonic moxiety soulmate thing a go-ahead. Whatdya got for me?

Brain: so this au has aro Patton (which my brain knows is a favorite of mine) and he’s kinda worried about disappointing his soulmate when he meets him.

Me: okay-

Brain: Patton angst, Patton angstttt

Me: wh-

Brain: it’s one of those soulmate aus where you figure out your soulmate the first time you touch, so he just avoids touching *anyone* even if he is naturally a touchy and huggy guy.

Me, who did not ask for angst: ... sure

Me: okay how about he has a childhood best friend that he touched before he figured out he was aro so that he can at least hug *somebody*?

Brain: move this friend halfway across the country. He cannot hug this friend unless there are visits.

It’s supposed to open a window to log in but it refuses to do that, keeps opening to an actual website so it won’t load.

I love hot chocolate! I always get so much at Denny’s. Do you prefer hot chocolate made with water, or milk?

If I could, I’d have it all milk, but I generally do water with a dash of milk or ask for lactose free.

Yep! I’ve been doing okay!

And it’s okay, life happens. It has its ups and downs, ya know? You just gotta keep fighting. Cuz eventually, there’s gonna be a better day. Or two. Or more!

Just keep going, okay? Keep breathing, keep staying positive (or at least optimistic), keep reaching out for help if you need it. And remember it’s okay to take breaks if you need one! You are wonderful, and loved, and important.
