Bill fans: Bill fans in my experience can be bit of a melting pot of many different people. Some Bill fans are normal people who read the book and like him, while some Bill fans are fourteen and only like movie Bill just cause he's the leader. Generally tho Bill fans are kinda rare, but most of em seem nice enough.There is one woefully terrible part of the Bill fandom, and it's the part that puts down Ben all the time just because they like Billverly. Stop that. Ew.
Richie fans: I think Richie fans can be really sweet or either HUGE dicks. I don't mesh well with richie fans a lot of the time because they're usually fans of stranger things and mike wheeler too and I fucking hate both of those things. He's also the default fan favorite so a lot of Richie fans can be pretty annoying, made worse by the fact that they wanna be like Richie and he is also very annoying sometimes. Even so, there are normal Richie fans and those are lovely. Worse tho is when Richie fans act like he's never done anything wrong, when he does indeed do bad things.
Eddie fans: Okay this is gonna sound weird, but I actually don't know many solo Eddie fans. Most Eddie fans I know like him as a sort of byproduct of liking Richie, so thinking about people who have Eddie as their fav is hard to do- but I think Eddie fans are usually quite nice. They're very protective of Eddie and understanding of the character, if you like Eddie enough to parse him from Richie you probably are a very reasonable and chill person.
Ben fans: Ben fans are few and far between, in my experience most Ben fans are older and like specifically book Ben. The other side of Ben fans are the ones who say he's a he/him trans lesbian and honestly I cannot complain about that. Both sides of Ben fandom are pretty good actually, i have no complaints at all. I just find it funny how one half of his fanbase is like "hehe funny alcoholic cowboy" and the other is like "Look are our beautiful lesbian, our princess <3".
Beverly Fans: Bev fans are a mixed bag I think. I love Bev and all, I really do, but Bev fans seem like they're always at odds with each other and kind of like the idea of bev more than Bev herself. I mean most of Bev's character is in the novel and a lot of Bev fans act like novel Bev is Satan, so pardon my judginess. I don't like movie only Bev fans very much, I think the best Bev fans are the ones who ,let all the Bev's kinda merge into one character they like instead of trying to parse them.
Mike Fans: Ohhhh Mike fans, you will never not stop fighting the uphill battle of defending him. There's not much to say about Mike fans but they're so nice, they're usually big fans of the book and it 1990 and hate andy muschietti. They all seem really nice, although some of 'em can get a bit defensive when it comes to their fave. It's understandable to be on high alert with Mike since so much of fandom is racist, but sometimes it can be a bit much. They are awesome for the most part tho.
Stan Fans: Stan fans are a fucking cult. I'm being so serious, the way Stan fans talk about Stan is crazy. Stan stans treat him awfully Jesusy for a jewish guy. You will never meet a group of people more delusional than Stanley Uris fans, they'll swear up and down he's alive and saved the group while his body is still in that tub. Even so tho, Stan fans are generally good people to be around because they wanna emulate Stan the most and so they're usually quite nice and easy to talk to. If you ever wanna talk about some odd details in the IT novel they are usually the person to go to.
Just to clarify though not all of these stereotypes are totally true for every fan of such and such, I personally like all the losers a lot, this is just based off individual run ins i've had with certain fans. Also don't take most of this too seriously, it's very much supposed to be a light hearted post, not a serious callout.
