Matt Dillon's movies from the 90s till present is way better than what he did in the 80s. Yes, The Outsiders and Rumble Fish are iconic and all, but they're not his best roles.

I guess don't really understand how people can claim to like Matt Dillon and then only watch the movies that are related to S.E Hinton. Anytime I interact with another fangirl/boy, they ALWAYS be talking about Dallas Winston 🫩

But at the same time, I kinda CAN'T blame them? I realize that they're usually in middle school and JUST discovered him. I also found Matt Dillon through The Outsiders, but trust me.. He has better roles than Dallas Winston. As much as I love Dallas Winston as a character Matt played, others like Jack, Larry, and Bob have more of an interesting plot going on.

So many fanfics are about Dallas too.. Does this fandom not expand their pallette?

Imagine how fucking upsetting it must be to hear from 95% of your fans that your prime is over and that they only care about your earliest works. I can't imagine how disheartening that must feel to be told you're "past your prime" 24/7 Jesus christ. And to comment ONLY about his first few works whenever he's talking about ANYTHING. Yall wonder why matt is sick about the outsiders interviews when all yall recognize him for is being dallas. You call it his prime when masterpieces like the house that jack built exist WAY farther down the line in his career. He was 17, 18 at MOST.
