I usually pay at the pump. Last week I tried to get gas and was directed to see the cashier. She made a mistake but said something after I inserted my card. We then repeat the transaction. My card goes through fine no issue I leave, but I got a receipt. I’m looking for a charge I made the same day that I got gas. I go to that date and I see a charge for $39.99 at the gas station and I thought that was odd because I paid $30 for gas. 

I go and get the receipt and lo and behold. It shows $30. Now I have an active dispute with my bank. Should I just dispute it for the $9.99 or for the entire charge because they tried to scam?

Turns out the bank refunded the entire charge. 🙌🏽
