I guess it’s safe to say that most people adore animals, and either have had pets or want to have one, right? This year (2020), I finally got the chance to adopt an amazing 3-legged pupper who has become everything to me.
While researching the local rescue projects, I learned about the immense hardships they go through–most don’t even have their own shelters, they either pay for foster families to take the animals in, or pay rent at private shelters (that are nothing like the shelters you may see on TV).
I know the world is literally and figuratively burning right now, and a lot of people are trying to make ends meet, so feel no pressure from this post, but if you are in a lucky enough situation where you might have even 1 dollar to spare, I’d like to humbly ask for your donation.
I selected 3 local rescue projects to help (focinhofeliz.es, auaucarente, guerreirosde4patas–all from Vitoria, ES, Brazil). They are in desperate need for food and money to pay vet bills:

(focinhofeliz.es saying they still need 100 bucks to close a deal for 4 session of chemotherapy for Linda)
You may ask, “but is it really worth donating 1 dollar?” and here’s my answer:

Your “small” donation will be multiplied by currency conversion. And not to mention there is strength in numbers; if everyone chips in, we can make a world of difference to these amazing animals.
