It is no real secret that Define One is the latest brainchild of Stephan Panev, but this time you have to admit it’s by far his most ambitious project up until now. The sound being even further away from his previous productions includes landscapes of Electronica influenced music with a touch of Indie to it which makes the final results simply impressive and just hard to ignore.

We are more than happy to let you know that we are shaping up a new Define One project which will be released later this year. Not much information is available yet, but we can say that it's connected with our first album "SELF". I love waking up like 5AM - 6AM, so I can spend the first one hour or so of my day.. Alone.

This shot is taken straight from the interview session we made for the "Motions" movie. The most interesting parts of the interview will be included as well as lots of footage of behind the scenes. If you want to learn more about Define One and This Ain't Music, then make sure to get a hold of the movie once its released (Winter 2011).

Define One is working hard on the debut album at the moment, but obviously there was time to solve one very important problem already. Usually the decision about the album cover is one of the hardest and therefore put on the bottom of most artist’s “to do list.” Since Define One isn’t your normal artist and for sure not following any schemes or similar, we are happy to present you the artwork of the album right now.

Somehow mystique and weird, but at the same time it also conveys some certain reality as well! Looking at it several times it draws you in even deeper, same thing you can also say about the music of Define One. One thing is certain, that waiting for the album won’t be any easier now.

Trailer of the little movie for the making of our upcoming album called "Self".

This is big news! Not only Define One is working on an album right now, but as you can see a movie will be released as well!!! It will document the entire process of creating the album SELF due to be out by the end of 2011. The trailer gives you a first and hopefully lasting impression about what you can expect. Created and directed by Stephan Panev himself we can be sure this one will be special.
