why is no one talking about connor’s bedside table? it’s literally a window into a lot of what he cared about and kept around. let’s analyze it instead of me doing my english homework. these also work as prompts for writing/drawing.
stuff on the shelves (in no particular order):
top:
headphones (did he use them often? where/why did he get them?)
xbox controller (did he play video games? what did he play? did he ever play with zoe before their relationship went haywire?)
black cup (im assuming this is a mug. did connor drink coffee?)
cigar box (i doubt there are real cigars in it, what did he keep in it? was there some some of collection that he kept in the box?)
comic books (edit: thanks anon! are these spiderman comic books? does he still read and enjoy them? do they mean something to him?)
middle:
hawaiian girl figurine (did the murphys go to hawaii at some point?)
drumsticks (did he drum? was he in a band?)
tackle box (did he fish with larry? or does he keep something else inside?)
playing cards (did he enjoy playing cards or magic tricks? is this a leftover from his childhood? tbh i just want tiny magician connor)
speaker (did he listen to loud music? why?)
water bottle
striped red and blue long-sleeved shirt (someone draw connor in this i’d die)
rolled-up magazine (what magazines did he read? how did he get the subscriptions?)
wwe batista action figure (edit: thanks again, anon! another childhood relic? why did he keep it?)
black desk lamp
bottom:
3 flannels (i want drawings of connor in flannels. why did he like flannels so much?)
bike helmet (did he bike? was that a forced family activity or did he enjoy it?)
black converse high tops (when does he wear these instead of his boots?)
y’all please add on to this/correct it because i love learning about connor as a person and using these little things we can learn so much about him. he’s was only alive for such a short period in the show, so seeing stuff like this makes me happy. also i couldn’t figure out what half of the things on it were so please help your local emotional thespian out.
