flowxy:
“ Of course not. I have better things to do than waste my time with you. “ The flower looked around, scanning the area for any other monsters. Of course, he knew there wouldn’t be any - he saw no reason to show himself in front of a crowd. It’d just bring unneeded attention. “ Golly, it’s so dark and cold, there’s not a soul out here except us, huh? “ He turned his gaze back to the human, grinning wickedly. “ Well, except y o u . “
A cold breeze whistled through the surrounding trees, sending small particles of snow into the air that lightly brushed against the flower. He paid little mind to it. “ … I’ve heard Snowdin is wonderful at night, especially if you stay away from as many heat sources as possible. It really adds to the atmosphere, you know? Why don’t you stay out here for a while? I could keep you company. “
Perhaps... perhaps you should have left when you had the chance. Oh well, you think to yourself, might as well make the most of it while it lasts. The words the flower speaks sinks in -- slowly & painfully, as if cement had started disguising itself as molasses and was encasing your entire being, making you freeze up and truly notice, see, feel, taste, understand everything around you. You don’t like it. You want it to stop. So -- you cross your arms in defiance, narrowing your eyes at the plant that could very easily gain the title of a weed. ( annoying to look at in a garden, and perpetually pissing you off because it won’t go away. )
*... yeah.
You finally respond to it, the answer vague and hardly an answer at all. It’s more or less an observation at this point. You shift your weight to the other side of your body and briefly wonder why you hadn’t gone into town -- oh, that’s right. Because you’re afraid. Afraid of being caught. Afraid of death. Afraid of life. Afraid. T E R R I F I E D. You almost say that the flower can tell you’re afraid, but you dismiss the thought immediate. It’s a FLOWER, not a PSYCHIC.Â
* i wasn’t planning on going into town anyways. * i was more or less just going to head on past it. * ... wait. if you have better things to do, then why are you HERE ?
