a student is giving a presentation and she feels their nervousness so she asks a question and helps talk them through it? or someone is about to present but she feels their anxiety and waits to ask them to go until they calm down?

she feels the confusion of one of her students during a lecture and pulls them aside after to help them? ask if they need clarification since she noticed they seemed to be struggling? or offers her office hours again?

someone is cheating during an exam and she feels their vindication? guilt? so she confronts them after the exam time and offers them another chance to take it?

she feels the class’ apprehension about an exam and turns the lecture into study time?

a student approaches her asking for an extension on an assignment deadline and she feels their fear, their stress, and she agrees?

she feels a student’s boredom and calls them out? or grabs their attention by telling a story of her own experience relating to her lecture?

may can sense something isn’t right with one of her students and can feel their desire to reach out for help and their hesitation to do so and pulls them aside after class to ask if everything is okay?

most of all she’d be able to feel her students’ gratitude and awe and respect for her. they can’t feel the love she has for them but it’s so much. she pours herself into them, as she’s always had training the next generation. they become her family- one that anchors her to the rest of her family, spread out across the world, the galaxy- even for just a semester.
