I am less worried about surviving Apocalypse right now, than I am about surviving⦠without Magnus. After all these years, I'm not sure I know how to. I really do wish I could feel his presence just one last time.
Best summary of lord of the rings Iāve ever seen.
$50,000 immediately dropped into my bank account wouldn't improve EVERYTHING but boy it sure would be a grand, sexy little start to a good, happy life path, don't you think
Reblog for unexpected $$$ dropping into your Bank account.

Getting back into baseball more this summer and. I forgot about The Epic Highs and Lows of Being a Cubs Fan.
The last 6 games are the perfect summary of The Epic Highs and Lows of Cubs Baseball
the mandela effect is so funny bc almost all of it can be boiled down to "you were a kid and memory is highly unreliable," "you assumed how a word was spelled based on how it sounded," or "you're confusing two different things"
the mandela effect can be summarized as "you'd rather create an alternate universe where you're right than admit that you are wrong"
Been listening to this Cubs podcast where they recap the games and the funniest part of it has been hearing the hosts develop serious beef with the Cubsā third baseman Alex Bregman.
āThis episode is sponsored by FanDuel! Think you can predict whoās going to hit a home run - NOT BREGMAN! - join FanDuel and bet today!ā - direct quote from the other day

the BEST THING about America is that one of their timezones is called mountain time. i cannot tell you how funny that is to me. it sure is always time for mountains in one fourth of america

Hello. Since I've seen people submit finished wheels, I thought I'd submit a wheel I came up with. In this case, it's a wheel to tell you something that you can't do for a week.
https://wheelofnames.com/kch-gkt
this is a really really cool idea! Thanks!!!
You can't do this for a week!
How bad is this for you?
Its great! I can live with this
I already don't do this
It'll be annoying but I'll be fine
VERY BAD.

thanks inkarchivist for the submission!!
ok girls riddle me this bc i love hearing people's answers to this question. what's a misheard lyric on a song that just made so much inherent sense to you that you accepted it without thinking? ofc the GOAT of this will always be my retail coworker like 15 years ago who was convinced that TLC was saying that a scrub is a guy who thinks he's fly and is also known as a bus stop, because he's always waiting for the bus, he doesn't have a ride of his own... but also i will die on the hill that my mishearing of dua lipa comparing her sound to "martian architecture" (not modern) on future nostalgia is actually a genius lyrical nugget bc like it completely fits the whole retrofuturist disco theme!!! architecture for a planet we've not even colonized yet! so much more evocative than the actual line. anyway that's enough please share yours
As a kid I heard "there's a warm wind blowing the stars around, and I'd really love to see you tonight." It made perfect sense to me as a slightly poetic, atmospheric description. And, you know, if you're staring up at a sky full of stars with a few light clouds drifting by when the wind blows, you might get the illusion that the stars are blowing. I loved it! It was so evocative. It was my favorite lyric in the song and really the main part I enjoyed.
Years later I was dismayed to discover that Dan England and John Ford Coley are singing "there's a warm wind blowing, the stars are out, and I'd really love to see you tonight." Like sure that makes more literal sense but I still think mine makes sense as a metaphor! It did to me anyway! And the real lyric is so much less interesting.
Some Lup graphic novel panels because I love her
Free service with ads: Well, if I'm not paying for it they have to foot the bill somehow.
Paid service with no ads: Well, if they're not funding it with ad revenue, they need to charge us something.
Paid service with ads: Well that's bullshit.
"We used to be a paid service without ads, but now we're putting ads in it! If you want the ad-free version you have to pay more for preeeeemium": Fuck you fuck you fuck you
I think we need some statutes of limitations on reboots and sequels. Itās gotten ridiculous out here.
It wouldnāt solve the problem but I think if we just said āno reboots of movies/shows less than 20 years old and no direct sequels to movies more than 10 years oldā, it would probably help
