I tried to read pumpkin spice bc I'm curious but I didn't make it through the fourth paragraph I think. Why does it exist. And why have some people read the whole thing

Its a joke that went too far ive heard, the author is on this website idk if theyve heard the recent good news (they also made a turkey fucking one people have forgotton which imo is way worse)

but honestly no fandom is ever safe from fics like these, and people read these just to wear t-shirts that say “I survived the 2k17 pumkpkin fucking,” brag about it because its hilariously gross, stuff like that, and then later look back and tell the tales to new fandom members

let’s also look at also why people write this, its simple: writer, artists alike, we do it to get a reaction, and this kinda stuff gets you big ol’ reactions.

Writing about pumkpin fucking or something  equally/more gross and embarrassing is more likely to stand out from the hundreds of fics out there, easier to become a meme and sometimes to the point where writers, producers, voice actors acknowledge its existence
