anyway it turns out that it is 100% impossible to change any information about an order that has been placed because of their... banking system? i dunno it’s news to me. Guy says usually it’s good but it’s inflexible.

He did get me back my credits that I spent on things for the PS4 version, so I could spend those on something else. And maybe I’ll be getting something? I dunno he couldn’t promise me anything on the phone but he said he’d try and get me something for the hassle.

My thoughts exactly. I’m gonna call ‘em if I don’t get a good answer - though I can’t think of a good answer as to why they can’t update billing information. I’m hoping it was that I also wanted to change shipping information, but I can actually let that slide since it’s shipping to my mom’s and I can just pick it up. I’m definitely calling them if they can’t update my billing info though because that is tarty fucked up.

i am so upset right now i don’t even know what the fuck to do. My wallet got stolen a few weeks back so I’m still going through all my stuff to update my card information and replace old info with my new cards. I finally get around to my preorders, and I fix my gamestop preorders and my fallout preorder through the bethesda store, but I go to fix my AC Syndicate Collector’s Edition and... apparently you can’t change your info on orders that have already been placed?!

I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE ON ITEMS PURCHASED FROM UPLAY/UBIWORKSHOP.

WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT NOW?! also cherry on fucking top, they’re “reached the limited amount” so if I “cancel and reorder” I can’t fucking GET THE GODDAMN VERSION I WANTED.

I don’t understand how I could have fixed billing information on another game I bought from them about a year and a half ago, but today, it is impossible.

Maybe I’m just not remembering it correctly, but I’m really fucking pissed off because I got the Collector’s Edition as a GIFT AND NOW I CAN’T FUCKING GET IT.
