Ilya and Shane are the only ones who can make each other laugh until they cry. They get the giggles together until they’re laughing so hard it doesn’t make a sound and no one can even tell what was so funny in the first place. Yuna sees them once, in the backyard, like this and she stops to watch with a twist in her heart because she hasn’t seen Shane laugh like that since he was a little child

The piss thing doesn’t do it for me personally but if you think that after a gala where Ilya was flirting with everyone too much that Shane doesn’t get him home and on his knees in the shower to unleash all over him and remind Ilya who he belongs to I don’t know what to tell you (this was Ilya’s secret plan the whole time)

In a universe where covid happens Shane gets really into Animal Crossing during lockdown and he’s weird about it immediately. He’s ranting to Ilya about how he didn’t realize he had an open campsite so he started his day welcoming the ugliest lamest villager to ever exist and then he shows him Quillson. It takes every bit of self restraint Ilya can muster to not say “that’s you”

I heard it’s WIP Wednesday. I have a deep fascination with the scene in TLG where Ilya tells Galina that he offered to let Shane sleep with other people but Shane ultimately declined and wanted to explore Shane’s experience with that (with some divergence from canon because I can’t not do that)

The cens get bed bugs from a (nice!) hotel and Shane refuses to see Ilya until he fumigates the whole house thrice, replaces the couch and all the mattresses, and shows him the invoices for each sports car getting detailed

Crucially #myshane plays to his twentieth season which is just long enough to have the experience of meeting Ottawa's new draft prospect, also named Shane, and to smile and jokingly say, "Hey nice name," and for the rookie to gulp and say, "Thank you sir I am named after you" and that makes Shane sit in his stall and stare at the floor between his skates for. Significantly too long to be healthy.
