the crime alley kids love their protector :) I headcanon that the kids are somewhat wary of the other bats and are only truly comfortable with jason. they ask to try on his helmet while jason tries to calm the little ones and distribute snacks and supplies to them. All the kids in Red Hood's area wears a red bat symbol in the form of keychains, painted on their items, etc as a sign that they are under jason's protection. Always in love with the idea of Clark and Bruce just getting each other on a level that isn't romantic or even platonic. Clark can read Bruce in ways that nobody else can, except maybe Alfred, even with the cowl on and every ounce of training he has hiding his true feelings, understanding when he's in pain either physically or emotionally. And Bruce can easily see through Clark's invincibility and strength, he can see the little changes in Clark's demeanour and knows when he's struggling or hurting. Just Clark and Bruce having that sort of dynamic where they can completely read one another in a matter of seconds and be exactly what the other needs in that second.
