Self-deprecation is a popular way for people to avoid hate or criticism but DANG is it hard to watch an artist you kinda like stop improving because they are #selfaware their art is bad. You can make jabs about your art and still be positive about your strong points.if you are negative all the time then you are working against your passion. Why would you want to improve if you are constantly telling yourself "I'm not good enough" the thing is art isn't a linear process sure you go from bad, good, and great but as soon as you settle for people's "good enough" then you become stagnant
