âOh, Iâll handle him.â Alice smiled and went to fetch him, looking back a moment. âAnywheres fine, Doctor.â
âWell theirs always this one place thats calm, near the beaches.â he did a weak smile seeing her go off. He was actually curious if she had gone to places like this.

âOh,â She nodded, understanding and a little sad. Alice sighed and gave the console a soft pat before moving off. âIâll just.. Go check on Aidan.â
âDid you two want to go any where? It can go to different placesâŠthat is if you like.â he quietly said but knew Aidan was probably waking up. He just was wanting to make sure sheâd be okay with the two being there.
âIâm not sure,â She said, biting her lip. âWherever you think is best.â
âI have a few place that are settling for both of you we can go to.â he quietly said trying to change the subject and trying to be more nice and up beat at this moment but bit his lip hearing Aidan crying looking over towards the room. âWell heâs awake.â

Alice nodded quickly and turned around, trying to get a good look at it all. âI thought they only existed in the movies.â
âTime Machines? Their rare these days to find. She here is one of a kindâŠwell from I know of the last of her kind.â he stated in moving his hand along the console moving towards a lever not pulling it of course letting her look around before he even moved them.
Alice continued to explore. Eventually she moved to the console, but was smart enough not to touch anything. âWhat happened to the rest of them?â
His smiled weakened hearing her ask that questioned, he was trying to find the words to say and explain the truth but at the same time it just was hard for him to even state it. âWell, sheâs the last of her kind, the rest are gone.â he clearly stated in moving over to where the screen was at moving his hand to the side of it pulling it over to look where they could go to.

âThank you, Doctor.â Alice blushed a little, stepping a big closer. It was all so stranger. Certainly it would take some getting used to.
âWhat exactly did you say this was?â
âSheâs called the T.A.R.D.I.S., sheâs a time machine, short for Time and relative dimension in space.â he moved his hand onto the edge of the console curiously of what sheâd think about it.
âA time machine?â Alice grinned, looking around in renewed amazement. âOh, my.. Thatâs.. Blimey, thatâs fantastic.â
âYou think so?â he questioned but did a small smile to hear her say that. He looked back and forth from his console to her.
  âjust leave me alone.â
John tried his hardest not to panic but he hadnât ever gone this far fowards before. He meant to go back to 1955, not to 2015. His head just felt worse at the illegal jump and he held onto the wall for support, violin case at his feet.Â
 He could feel the otherâs eyes on him however,   and that just made him feel anxious. He would   be in enough trouble if he found a way back, let  alone being stuck with a broken machine. The  writer would get to fixing it as soon as his head was  clearer, but the blood wasnât stopping from his nose.      Â
âListen. I am not here to hurt you. What is going on?â He questioned adjusting himself not to startle him even more he noticed he was edged. He himself could tell that this wasnât something he was use to. He wasnât going to move over towards him unless he needed some help. He knew time travel being who he was. He hoped maybe he could help else wise he might have to leave him there which was something he didnât want to do.
  England? Now that couldnât be right at all.
His case seemed completely busted in the jump and the man turned to look at the other. He was in a lot of trouble now- and not just with the bureau.

he quickly dismissed the stranger, feeling the blood begin to rush to his head, quickly pulling out his handkerchief to stop the flow of blood from his nose, pinching it with a wince.        âthis is going to sound like a stupid      question- but what year is it?â
âItâs 2015, your wound looks like its going to get worse if you donât have someone look at it.â He pointed that out but his eyes going from the one in front of him to the wound on his head. âAre you not use to being at new places?â he questioned. He traveled a lot so he knew new places from time to time. He kept his eyes on the fellow in front of himself making sure that he didnât fall over in front of him.

Alice smiled at him before going to shower. She made it relatively quick, just enjoying the feeling of being clean. She didnât really want to put her old dress back on, so she wrapped a towel around herself and went back in.
âDo you have anything to wear that would fit me?â She asked.
âAh yes itâs down the hall to the right. Big closet full of clothes you can choose from.â He motioned to the room blushing because of her and her towel not looking only looking at her eyes only.
âThanks,â Alice giggled softly, noticing his blush. She went and found something to wear, a nice yellow dress that looked a touch old fashioned. She twirled happily and dried her hair as she went back.
âYou look really nice. Aidanâs sound asleep.â he admitted in noticing her come out as he leaned against the console of his ship.

Alice nodded, smiling warmly. She looked up at him. âDo you think heâll like me?â
He smiled hearing her. âI think he might. Time will tell. You did save him.â He gave a friendly smile looking between the two.
âAnd you saved us,â she said, taking his hand and giving it a soft squeeze. âFor that, Iâm eternally grateful.â
âI did save you, I do try my best. Iâm not perfect.â he admitted to her, he wasnât perfect. He was a time lord that had been through so much that even he was burdened with what he had done in the past.
Alice looked up at him with the sort of genuine smile that warmed and broke hearts all at once. âYou may not be perfect, Doctor. But youâre exactly what we needed.â
He did a weak smile hearing those words. âThank you Alice.â he said glad to hear those words from someone. Sometimes he needed reassurance.
Alice gave his hand another small squeeze before letting go. âDo you mind watching him a little longer while I shower?â
âI donât mind its right across the way. Iâll watch this little one.â he smiled in motioning towards the bathroom across the way giving a gentle squeeze before she let go.
