@gimmie-mah-beans-boi you have found your inner bean
We waited this long to post our 50th bean!
It is, in fact, manifested in the material plain! The bean itself is a cake; chocolate flavoured, with a combination of strawberry and chocolate icing (hence the odd colour). We also added small dinosaurs as decoration, sprinkles on top, and paper starz in the mix. The blue icing reads “Happy 50th Bean” with a picture of our lovely bae, drawn by yours truly. We also slathered some of the chocolated icing around the sides, which dripped down onto the plate in a whimsical fashion.
This celebration was wonderful, the cake was good, 9/10, the icing was a bit funny but the rest was fantastic. It was nothing void of flavour and wonderful choclatey-taste. Also, we felt bad about eating the dinosaurs.
Thank you for those who stuck around for the 50th bean, and sorry if you unfollowed us, it’s your loss <3

thatrandomfangirlingcat we have noticed that you have been rather confused with the ideals and purpose of our blog. Please allow us to explain for you, as a loyal follower, and as a friend!
Beans (Broad beans, or fava beans) have been portrayed in history as far as the 8th Century. Beans were quite popular in the 8th Century Europe as part of a nutritious diet, and still are today.
Here is an excerpt of the Wikipedia page on beans under the subheading Flatulence:
“Many edible beans, including broad beans and soybeans, contain oligosaccharides (particularly raffinose and stachyose), a type of sugar molecule also found in cabbage. An anti-oligosaccharide enzyme is necessary to properly digest these sugar molecules. As a normal human digestive tract does not contain any anti-oligosaccharide enzymes, consumed oligosaccharides are typically digested by bacteria in the large intestine. This digestion process produces flatulence-causing gases as a byproduct. This aspect of bean digestion is the basis for the children’s rhymes "Beans, Beans, the Musical Fruit". Since sugar dissolves in water, another method of reducing flatulence associated with eating beans is to drain the water in which the beans have been cooked. Some species of mold produce alpha-galactosidase, an anti-oligosaccharide enzyme, which humans can take to facilitate digestion of oligosaccharides in the small intestine. This enzyme, currently sold in the United States under the brand-names Beano and Gas-X Prevention, can be added to food or consumed separately. In many cuisines beans are cooked along with natural carminatives such as anise seeds, coriander seeds and cumin. One effective strategy is to soak beans in alkaline (baking soda) water overnight before rinsing thoroughly. Sometimes vinegar is added, but only after the beans are cooked as vinegar interferes with the beans' softening. Fermented beans will usually not produce most of the intestinal problems that unfermented beans will, since yeast can consume the offending sugars.”
Our favourite bean, the Red Kidney bean, is known as one of the healthiest beans on earth. According to the USDA Nutrient Database, Kidney beans contain: 1 393kJ of energy 2 grams of sugar 15 grams of dietary fibre 1 gram of fat 24 grams of protein 0.8 mg of Pantothenic acid 394 μg of folate 143 mg of calcium, 8 mg of iron, 140 mg of magnesium, 1406 mg of potassium and 3 mg of zinc. The average Kidney bean contains 12 grams of water.
The Archives of Internal Medicine has studied the health effects of certain foods, and it has showed that consuming foods that are high in fibre will prevent heart-related disease. They also contain a very high percentage of folate and magnesium.
You can add Kidney beans to tacos, chili con carne, and a salad or bake them on toast. Whatever way you serve them, if cooked properly, they will still create a wholesome meal for you to adore.
Using our very own scientific hypothesis, we have concluded that by creating a Tumblr blog entirely of photo shopped beans, we will draw interest toward the Kidney bean and its health attributes.
Sorry if we originally came off as confronting, scary and weird. We hope we have been informative to you, and we hope you will stay for more quality content! <3
