hi again! a few days ago i made a post saying i was collecting donations to buy a new laptop to be able to attend online classes.

things have evolved and i found out tonight that my father has been fired from his job. this puts me in a difficult position. i’m afraid i’m gonna have to quit university and i’m not even sure my sister will be able to afford getting an education.

we can’t afford to pay bills anymore and paying for groceries is going to be hard. we have 10€ to live this week and i’m really worried. please, if you see this post just reblog it, cause it can really save me and my family until my father finds a new job. i’m really scared and i really do not know what else to do. every tiny cent counts.

the blondes half sleeping figure walks across the living room, only stopping when he gets scared seeing you in pitch darkness.

“why haven’t you slept yet”

your back was pressed against the plush couch that still had a remaining stain from hyunjin spilling orange juice just after buying it and bringing it home to your shared apartment.

“i can’t sleep”

“why can’t you sleep”

“i just can’t,” you smiled calmly.

he walks over and plops down next to you, handing you a warm glass of...watermelon juice. he’s evolved from orange juice. “hyunjin..why is it warm,” clearly being disgusted by the blondes interesting choice of drink. “idk why are you still awake at 3 am.” he’s got a point there.

hyunjin runs his slender fingers through his long blonde hair, pulling it back into a ponytail. god damn it. this was the reason why you’re still awake at 3 am. your brain was cluttered with hyunjin, running through your mind endlessly like a marathon.

“ive...been thinking a lot,” you say after silence took over the dark livingroom. hyunjin turns his head to look over at you. you can’t actually see the features on his face but you can envision the worries in his eyes. “what are you thinking about?”

idk you’re thinking about the inevitable burning feeling in your chest and how you’ve been trying to suppress yourself especially in this moment to try and not humiliate yourself to blurt out the three words you’ve been wanting to yell out of your mouth for the past couple of months.

you rested your head on his lap facing the other direction so that your eyes don’t meet his. mostly to avoid becoming so weak and frail in front of him but you already failed that as to the blonde noticing your movements and trying to make eye contact with you.

“you’re scared.” you froze on the spot. you froze because he was right, you are scared.

scared that you’re falling for your best friend and roommate of 4 years. scared that you’re falling for a guy that brushes your hair for you even though you tell him that you’re completely cable of brushing it yourself. scared that you’re falling for a guy that warms the bath water for you before you take a bath.

“hyunjin you don’t understand.”

“then make me understand.”

you press your lips to his soft ones, hands naturally caressing the blondes jaw and cheek as you move to interlock your fingers with his long hair. you could tell that the blonde was shocked by your actions but quickly reciprocated and took in your lips

hyunjin only had one goal. and that goal was to make you his. if we’re specifically talking, he meant marriage. never has he ever liked the thought of getting married, but when it came to you however, he would give you the whole world if he could.

he basically already accomplished his goal, you and him living together in the same house felt like marriage to him. now all that is left was the complicated feelings.

you kiss him as to say the words that you couldn’t say. “i love you,” and you think he understands that because he’s kissing you like he has the whole universe in his hands. (or that he’s kissing you with so much passion like cheeze and crackers. he really loves his cheese and crackers.)

hyunjin slowly pulls away from the kiss to look at your face before excitedly saying,

“now that we’ve got this figured out, we should celebrate by drinking warm watermelon juice!”

“alright one kids meal and a big mac, that will be 7 dollars and-”

seungmin hears a loud thud behind him, he already knew that it was you. (he probably guessed that you spilled the fries or something and is now sitting helplessly on the ground picking up the fries individually)

he smiles at the customer as if this same incident has happened many times before and swiftly exits as he comes to your rescue. and sure enough, there you were sitting on the ground with the spilled fries helplessly at your fingertips.

he sighs while smiling, “ha.. what are we going to do about you,” he crinkles his nose and shakes his head softly.

he pats your head as a way to say ‘you tried your best.’ ignoring the fact that your heart is screaming to escape from your chest, you quickly came back to reality fumbling with the freshly baked fries that have fallen to the floor. seungmin helps you sweep the leftover fries, looking down at your helpless figure.

your eyes were glued to the tiled floor due to embarrassment and guilt for your own actions. “not again,” you sigh in your head as you furrow your brows. he notices this and pokes the middle of your forehead with his finger, forcing you to unforrow your brows.

“its okay dummy” he says, dumping the old fries and quickly making the new batch like the good and diligent employee he was.

“..no its not” you say, clearly feeling bad for your co-worker. he wasn’t just a co-worker or a friend to you, you had quite the crush on him.

the many times where seungmin had covered up for you and took the blame for your clumsiness made your head spin into circles and face turn flustered mostly because you felt guilty. but seungmin never seems to be bothered by your clumsiness, which was odd.

seungmin knew it from the very beginning when you came into work and messed up your first order. usually seungmin would be annoyed by anyone’s clumsiness but when it comes to you however, he couldn’t help but adore you for your cuteness.

after your shifts:

you gulp down a cheeseburger and drench your 6 piece chicken nuggets in sweet and sour sauce. the boy sitting across from your table booth smiles at you playfully. seungmin usually gets hyper at the end of the day because he gets to leave with you by his side.

“daaa,” he cutely shakes his head trying to get your attention and when that doesn’t work, he smiles softly with his eyes glued to your face.

“y/n let me take you somewhere fancier than mcdonalds.”

your head is spinning at a speed that you can’t control yourself to stop. was he trying to take you out on a date? you tried to act natural.

“i think mcdonalds is fancy,” you say sarcastically, replicating the boys enthusiasm. he scoffs at your response, wrapping your scarf around your neck.

“im taking that as a yes.”
