â Excuse meââŚiâm sorry, do you maybe know where I can get some of those hangover-pill-things? This is hard enough to comprehend even if my head wasnât about to explode. â
"Uhm-- I can help you to the infirmary if you want? I--I think there would be some medicine there. A-are you new?"
imogenmae:
âthat isnât the first time iâve heard that today,â she replied with a soft smile. it was insane that even with the fun things the pets still didnât get a choice, they had to be here. âyou ready for it to be over, then?â
"yeah? b-but at least, it seems like a lot of people are having fun," she offered her eyes looked over to the crown before returning to the other girl. even though she didn't have a choice on the matter, she didn't mind being able to go out because it was truly a rare opportunity for someone like her. "not really, i-it's nice out here."

I think itâs just important to not judge people based on their physicality because itâs really about personality and peopleâs hearts and souls.

âThe waves are plenty strong! You never know,â Xenia said self-righteously. As if she had not just frantically grabbed the other and pulled her away from the water. âThereâs nothing to like about the sea - I much prefer the beach and the music.â She shrugged, careful to inch away from the water. She was not risking it tonight. And, glancing at the other girl, she was certainly not into emotional talk tonight either. âYouâre not joining?â Xenia nodded at the crowd behind them, curious. Â
Noticing that it might be a sensitive topic for the other girl, Lilah just nodded her head at her answer about not liking the sea as she let her lead them away from the water and back to the safety of the land. "I'm not really good with crowds of people," the brunette admitted softly, eyes darting towards the crowd who seem to be having fun. She just felt like the odd one out if she even went there. âB-but you should go and have fun,â she encouraged her, though she didnât really mind having company either.
imogenmae:
âoh really?â she didnât think her name was that uncommon but maybe it was. or maybe because it was here name it seemed more boring to her than it did to anyone else. âi am!â she told her with a grin. âare you?â
"yeah," delilah hummed with a little nod of her head. when the question was returned to her though, a small shrug lifted her shoulders as she answered truthfully, "the beach is great b-but parties aren't really my scene."

Amber hues wandered towards the direction of the other person as she nodded her heard, âYeahâ it truly is.â With the sun just setting, the sky was a mixture of different hues illuminated by the water. Sighing contently, a small smile found its way on her lips as she added, âIâitâs a magnificent view.â
âThey should hold more beach events, itâd certainly be a nice way to get outside.â Eyes pulled back to the view and away from the stranger to try and paint the picture in her mind. It was a good memory and she was sure those would be rare around the mansion.Â
"O-or just allow us to go to the beach even for just once a week," she stated hopefully, though it was probably some wishful thinking. The people managing the mansion didn't seem to be that generous since in a way, being held back from certain privileges makes the pets motivated.

Minding her own business as she stayed away from the crowd, Delilah never expected to hear that voice. However, the moment she did, the young brunette was turning around in a quick motion as the surprise was present on her features. âEthan?â she trailed off, just before she was running towards him and hugging him close. Even though the two may not be the closest, heâs still family and she missed them so much.
Ethan looked at his sister and held her close to him. He didnât know if he would tell her that he was the reason that she was here but he was glad to see her anyways and see that she looked alright. He kissed the top of her head and pulled away slightly. âHow are you, Lilah?â
There was a familiar comfort being enveloped in his arms and for a moment, it evaded her mind as to what he's doing here. Soon, he was pulling away from her and there was an expression of confusion lingering in her face. "I've been good. But you, what are you doing here? Did you come to take me home?"
deliilahs:
As fond as she was of the beach, Delilah wasnât really much of a party person and neither was she really comfortable with the swimwear they were given. Thankfully, none of the guards called her out for wearing one of the larger shirts she had over it. Staying away from the crowd, the young brunette walked by the shore instead with her toes dipping into the sad, waves crashing upon her feet as she had her arms wrapped around her small frame.
Xenia hated the water. She loved the party, she loved the beach, but the water was the ultimate no for her. She just didnât understand why anyone would like to splash in it, and why anyone would want to risk being washed away. It was a scary unknown - the sea. So when Xenia saw someone walk a little too close for her own comfort, (and maybe she was a little drunk, just a little), she gasped and ran towards the other, pulling the girl back. âDonât do that! Do you want to die? The seaâs scary stuff.âÂ
Being pulled back by a pair of hands startled the brunette as a look of confusion crossed her features. Looking at the girl who has had obviously been a little drunk, Delilah reassured her, "I--I wasn't trying to do anything? The waves aren't even that strong." Offering her a kind smile, she asked her softly, "Do you not like the sea?"Â Even though Lilah didn't know how to swim, she absolutely adored the ocean and the vast wonders it held-- there were so many mysteries surrounding it and she found it fascinating.
deliilahs:
âP-probably because youâre drunk and not thinking straight?â the brunette pointed out with a soft smile on her lips. âNot that I know of,â Lilah answered as she showed him her own cup of water. She has never been a fan of alcoholic beverages so she was trying to avoid those as well.
âAw, man, that makes me sound terrible. Not that youâre wrong, though,â Chester shrugged. Nodding at her cup of water, he put down his own glass of alcohol. âIâll get some water too, I guess. Have you even drunk anything other than that?â
"B-being drunk doesn't make you sound terrible," she commented since there was nothing wrong with drinking as long as it doesn't lead to choices you'd regret once you sober up. Shaking her head a little, she answered, "N-not really. I don't know if they had any non-alcoholic drinks. But I can get you a glass if you want?"
deliilahs:
âthatâs what iâm trying to do,â she responded with a warm smile, returning the one on the blondeâs expression. she has been here for more or less four months and yet, she hasnât really made a lot of friends or even acquaintances. âi-itâs nice to meet you, too. you have a very pretty name.â
she smiled in reply to the otherâs words. she was glad for this celebration, for the time on the beach and the fact she could meet more people here because everyone was together. âawh, thanks,â she replied. âi quite like it, too.â
"i--i don't think i've ever met anyone with that name before," she supplied with a light shrug of her shoulders as the cool breeze continued to brush over her skin. delilah wasnât really great at keeping up conversations as she rattled her brain on what to say to the female, though she was unsure if she was a pet or a mistress. âuhm--are you having fun?â
ooc.
bailcy:
She had taken off away from the large crowd in the beginning stages of it, body resting against one of the large rocks to let eyes dift over the water. It was peaceful compared to the drinking crowd and that was something the brunette needed more than anything. âBeautiful, isnât it?â She questioned out once she noticed a stranger.
Amber hues wandered towards the direction of the other person as she nodded her heard, "Yeah-- it truly is." With the sun just setting, the sky was a mixture of different hues illuminated by the water. Sighing contently, a small smile found its way on her lips as she added, "I--it's a magnificent view."
imogenmae:
it was the first time imogen had been out here, too, but she had only been here for three days. âoh, nice. better take advantage of it while you can, huh?â she said with a warm smile. ânice to meet you. iâm imogen.â
"that's what i'm trying to do," she responded with a warm smile, returning the one on the blonde's expression. she has been here for more or less four months and yet, she hasn't really made a lot of friends or even acquaintances. "i-it's nice to meet you, too. you have a very pretty name."
