“1024.” Thomas replied. “Didn’t realize you were speaking to an old man now did you?”
Her eyes widened with surprise, a small gasp escaping her. "Wow... so you're almost as old as the Mikaelsons then. I must say you look good for your age," she teased.

“Well I certainly never expected to be kidnapped and tortured by the devil himself,” she joked, though her words can out darker than intended.
“I never would have anticipated that either.” Thomas shook his head. “And I’ve been around for a long time and seen a lot of things.”
"How old are you? If you don't mind me asking that is," she asked.

“Klaus said he had been seeing things… Your father,” she informed him, watching him careful as he turned from her. “I don’t know how well he’s doing. I haven’t heard from him since we were let out. I was with Freya though… She’s okay.”
He nodded as he listened to her, he could feel the veins around his eyes start to protrude. “Anything else? Or just Mikael?” He was relieved to hear that another of his siblings were alright. “Which horseman were you affected by?”
"He only mentioned Mikael to me... I'm not sure if it's gotten worse or not," she replied quietly. At his question she felt another sharp pain roll through her stomach. "Famine... I found some food but it doesn't matter how much I eat. It doesn't go away. I can't even taste the food."

“It took me a long time to open up to people and accept their friendship but yeah. Pretty much. Ironically, I used to hate anyone supernatural. Now I’m pretty sure the only people I trust are supernatural.”
“It’s funny how things work out, isn’t it?” Thomas asked her. “You never know where life is going to take you.”

“I haven’t really had anything like that since I was a boy.” Thomas shook his head. “I’m not very used to having people to depend on at all. Is that what you’ve found here?”

“Good. She kept her promise to me and kept an eye on you.” He smiled, pulling away to look at Delilah, but keeping her arms around her. “I’m fine, a little weak, but fine. What about you? Are you okay?”
“She’s a good person. You were right about me liking her,” she spoke softly as she let her hands rest on his chest. “I feel like I’m starving to death no matter how much I eat. I can’t even taste it. And weak.. I feel extremely weak. The task took a lot out of me. But I’m alive... So there’s that,” she forced a tired smile. “And my hand hurts like a bitch.”

“My family was all killed.” Thomas told her. “So I was an outcast long before I became what I am.” He nodded in understand. “Sorry to hear about your family. Is it anything that can be reconciled?” Hearing her relate him helped to subdue the need for violence that war had placed upon him.
“My family is also dead,” she said, though she knew her brother and cousin were still out there. However it was better they were out of her life. It was safer. “Though even if they were still alive, my parents never wanted me. My brother was the favorite from day one. I guess that’s why this town is so important to me. It’s become my family.”

“I’m guessing you know all about that then. Why’s that?”
“Nothing like being a different species or anything... Just.. I never fit in with my family. They always tried to make me be something I’m not. We eventually went our separate ways,” she summarized, although it wasn’t even remotely that simple.

Klaus stumbled back because of how weak he was, but wrapped his arms around Delilah, hugging her tightly. “And I’m glad you’re alive.” He sighed in relief. “I saw my sister after Lucifer’s task, I was worried about you.”
“It was... It was horrible. But we both made it through, even though we are a little worse for wear,” she sighed against his shoulder, feeling safe for the first time since she entered this place. She knew the feeling wouldn’t last, but she cherished it. “How are you feeling?”

For the first time in days Freya finally laughed, however small. “I agree that would be for the best.”
The silence fell between them for a moment before Delilah broke it, “I’d kill for a margarita right about now.”

“You know…. I think you’re the only person who’s ever said that to me.” It surprised Thomas, taking him aback.
“I know what it’s like to be alone,” she shrugged. “It’s not fun being the outcast.”

Klaus was on his way to find the rest of his siblings when he heard the noise of glass breaking and thinking that it could be one of them, rushed towards the sound. Even though it wasn’t either of his brothers, he was relieved to see Delilah alive. “You should cover that before a hungry vampire finds you.”
She visibly relaxed as the familiar accent reached her ears. She rushed towards him, throwing her arms around him in a hug. “I’m glad you’re okay...” she said, ignoring his words for the moment.

“I’m glad I got to know you as well.” Freya replied. “That… that was certainly a bonding experience.”
Delilah chuckled, despite their situation, “Next time I think we should stick to getting drinks.”

“More or less, yes.”
“I”m sorry,” she said sincerely. Thomas had given her no reason to dear him so far, so her words were true. She knew what it was like to be an outcast.

“I’m beginning to consider the same.”
“Well.. For what it’s worth, I’m glad I got to know you a bit.”

Damon looked at Delilah as soon as he heard her voice, a smirk playing on his lips covered in fresh blood. “Delilah, my friend.” He said, taking a few steps towards her. “I missed you.” There were no emotions in his eyes while he spoke to his friend. Damon’s eyes fell on Delilah’s neck, his hunger just as strong as before he fed.
Delilah swallowed, her eyes scanning the hallway trying to find a way out of this mess. She knew Damon must’ve shut his humanity off, going through with his task. “Stay back, Damon.,” she warned.

”So I’ve got five siblings all dotted around and you can’t tell me where any of them are, specifically?” Henrik glared at her. Logically he knew it wasn’t her fault, but he couldn’t shake the need to snap at her. “I’m not hungry, and you should wrap up that wound before a vampire sees you. Was the bag of chips worth your life? I’ve noticed everybody hanging around, has anybody tried to get out of the building itself yet?”
“No.. I can’t,” she snapped back. “Just because I’m close with your family doesn’t mean I have GPS trackers on them,” she said sarcastically. If there was one thing she couldn’t stand, it was being talked down like she was incompetent. “I will once I find something to wrap it with. And yes, actually. It was. I’m under the influence of Famine so my need for food to curb some of the constant starvation pains is definitely worth it,” she huffed. “I couldn’t open the one door I passed by, but I also don’t have supernatural strength or magic. However I doubt we’re all just free to go whenever.”
