Shout out to Zootopia 2 for making me finish an entire thing in less than 10 days. This hadn't happened in YEARS. Watching Mamma mia! the same day was also a great choice to get the gears turning lmao

I love the Lynxleys, I love how much the movie provides while leaving so much to the imagination, and imagine I did. More specifically about why their mother is not around anymore.

Pawbert + the Lynxeys in general have been one of my favorite parts of the Zootopia lore and I put a lot of love and effort into all my headcanons, and their mom has been a great source of creativity + curiosity for me. The idea that my interpretation of her and how I wrote it down was enough to help inspire someone (let alone such a talented artist???) still blows my mind. It's such high praise and I could never express how much it means to me.

My fic aside I just love this piece so much. It's the right amount of fancy, soft, delicate and warmth to portray a sweet yet aristocratic mother. She looks so cute and unique!! I stuggle a lot to imagine unique designs and the fact that she reminds me of the Lynxley kids without being a carbon copy is impressive to me. And the work BlackCatto did on the fur curls and the fabric is incredible! I could go on and on but aaa everyone look at her!!
