Holidays aren't the best for Sanemi. His father was always drunk or gone, so any presents he got were small ones from his mother, which he loved anyway.

What really made him smile was giving gifts to his siblings, as their eyes always lit up.

So, when he started dating you and started getting showered with gifts, he felt a little unworthy.

His teaching job already didn't leave him enough time to spend time with you, but you showering him with gifts or love when he gets home doesn't really make him feel too great.

When he does get some time off, he decides to get you something small to show his appreciation.

"Hey, dumbass. Here's something to...show you how much I care, or something..."

When you unwrap it, it's a simple framed photo of you two from your first date. Sanemi was strapped for ideas, and he was unsure if you would even like it.

You simply give him the warmest hug you can, and he completely melts.

"I love it, Nemi"

Safe to say, Sanemi tries to be better with the gifts as time goes on, but he really just loves spending time with you.

"You're gonna make me soft, you know that?"

As a little bonus, you tease Sanemi by hanging mistletoe over every doorway. Whenever you mention it, he gets red in the face.

By the third or fourth time, he breaks and just ends up kissing you like no tomorrow.
