Been years since I attempted to celebrate or even reasonably observe Valentine's. For the past 15 years it's been a strain to even receive a hug. Every month or two I may get laid, but every other day it's a struggle to be even recognized as necessary or wanted.

So these are two tools I made for polymer clay sculpting, one is made to look like an angry snake thing and is made from armature wire bulked with aluminum foil and wrapped in a swirl of two different colors and marked for texture, the fake teeth and the flat head shape ensures that it ends up not rolling no matter how it's laid, a thick upholstery sewing needle is anchored mid head inside the foil with tissue and superglue holding it firmly inside twists of the handle armature wire, fits nice in the hand.

The second tool is made from a bamboo skewer and ⅓ of a chicken wishbone, I made it similar to how one makes a spear by splitting the skewer and binding it with nylon thread, heat shrank, wrapped again, the other side I made into a bowling pin head type shape to assist with smoothing small curves that are cut/pushed with the bone end.

I don't know why, but this was really more fun than it should've been lol

These are in camera effects caused by 2nd sync plus long exposure, took over a dozen attempts to pull off and keep the framing properly. I exposed for proper color and eye level detail with no extraneous light other than what's provided by the street lamp and moon, and moved within the last 2-3 seconds.

Unfortunately I lost a lot of equipment in the accident that almost killed me, although what I took this with was a 200 dollar outfit way back in 2012 when I got it, even less in 2014 when I shot these. So I moved on to other mediums with less equipment cost for the starting investment, as the hospital billed the government first rather than the auto insurance I had no coverage under, and they're clawing 10% of $54,000 back slowly from disability money one month at a time.

I use this Tumblr to post works I've done in no particular order with a technical explanation or story behind the piece.

Plus furthering my moral musings and potentially propagandic worldview.

Yeah, any one of the chuds in the comment section could go see what happens when a chimpanzee is caught resource hoarding, and we're supposed to be above that.

I want them to imagine there is no private property, but that would require them to understand the difference between that and personal property, like a personal home and one you rent to tenants, or a vehicle you use to get to work vs a tanker truck, instead they're obsessed about keeping their toothbrush.

My non-descript friends, you have been deceived, we want the workers to own the toothbrush factory (at least the machinery) you think it'll just be boarding houses and nothing can be done about private capital holders hogging up the housing market or land usage? We could do something now about that if the people got organized and cool with some now questionable practices very quickly, protect adverse possession like we did farm buybacks during the Great Depression...
