So I had an AU idea

The gist of it is that Battat belonged to Dess, and sometime after taking the role of Mike, Noelle found him in the couch and grabbed him, only to drop and lose him in the computer lab. So in the Dark World, that means he's suddenly torn away from TV World when nobody's looking and slams head first on the Cyber City sidewalk. Thanks to Queen vaguely recognising him from Card Kingdom and thinking he's kind of funny, he gets a job at the Mansion. Now he gets to feel homesick as hell; lose his mind over the new mysteries of Dess, Spamton, and the Bunker; and befriend some new coworkers who actually want to do their jobs. Life is weird.

TV World without him is its own horrible mess.
