RUSH WEEK â KUNTER đŹ
fratboy-clarington:
âKurt. It is very nice to meet you then.â
Hunter smiled at the extension of the hand. He had been to many a formal event where this move was second nature to him and it seemed he wasnât the only one. Taking the hand, Hunter gave him a firm shake followed by Sebastian trying to do the same though it was looser and off center due to the boyâs intoxication. âIâm Hunter Clarington and this is Sebastian Smythe. Weâve been members here at this fraternity since we were freshman ourselves so rush week has always been sort of special to us.â Feeling the weight of his best friend against him, Hunter gave Sebastian a tiny push and smiled. âBas, why donât you go find Duval and see if he needs any help giving some of the new pledges a tour.â It was easier to get his friend to listen when he was drunk and soon enough Sebastian was well on his way to complete the task.
âSorry about that. It seems rush week gets to our boys here just as much as it gets to everyone else on campus. Not that I blame them, of course. Being a delta is something to be desired by many around here, but not everyone gets to. Thatâs also why we host these sort of events â easier to vet out those just not meant to be part of our little family here. Your friend over there seems to be fitting in just well. Iâm sure he will make a great pledge for the house. As for you ââHunter let his gaze drift up and down Kurt once more, taking in every area that the boyâs clothes hugged tight to his frame.
âYou, however, I may need to get to know you a little better to find out if youâre really delta material.â There was a bit of a predatory look in Hunterâs eyes as they met Kurtâs. âCare to join me upstairs? Iâm sure I can answer any questions you might have about the frat up there.â
Kurtâs eyebrows rose and his lips quirked into an amused smirk at the loose handshake of the other boy. It was no comparison to the firm one from the boy that held his attention - the one that made him wonder what else those hands could do well. The two boys seemed to have their clear differences, though the amount of alcohol consumed surely took a part in that. He watched as Sebastian walked away before turning back to Hunter.
âDoes he always get that wasted?â He laughed, soft but audible. âNothing to be sorry about. Itâs like something out of a college teen movie. Drunk fraternity brothers chasing freshmen girls and waking up with Sharpie on their face. Itâs not like itâs totally unexpected. I didnât realize you were so selective.âÂ
His eyebrows rose again and he considered how his friendship with Sam would change if he got into the house and Kurt didnât. The boys tone certainly made it sound like Sam had a good chance, while his might be more slim. That wasnât necessarily surprising either, as Kurt had never had much of an easy time fitting into the same crowds as his friend did. That thought changed when he saw the look in Hunterâs eyes as they very clearly mapped him out.
âI might have a few questions.â He set down his drink and stepped closer, dropping his voice to a lower register. âBut, you know, if you just wanted to get me in your bed, you could have just asked.â Kurt met his eyes with a smirk before stepping around him and heading for the stairs. His foot met the first step and he turned to look back at Hunter. âYou coming?â
