perched on top of the windowsill, hiding behind moonlight's cover, i am haunted by memory.

a troublesome ghost, now a forgotten friend.

what once was ours, is mine to keep now. melancholy of a cherished other plagues my brain to infinite demise tell me stranger, is this all we have left?

the clock strikes one thirteen reminding me of the hand that lingered at the bottom of my spine under dawn's gaze and I am sure once again

that if I could meet you now i would run into your arms look in your eyes and tell you once more
