Star Wars Doodle Book Giveaway!

I had the opportunity to pick up a few copies of the Star Wars: the Doodles Strike Back colouring in book a month or so ago, and I now finally have the means to do a giveaway! Yay! I’ve been wanting to do it for ages.

So the book is this one, the one with Hux in it (I took a few pics of content but didn’t want to clutter the post):

Just a small update:

Things irl aren’t going too well. I did have some good news, but other than that I’m still very stressed out, unwell, and struggling to cope with everything. I’d like to spend more time writing, and to come back to kylux, but at the moment I’m a little too overwhelmed to do that.

I hope that if you’re waiting for an update to a fic you’ll understand! I’m sorry I couldn’t share anything new with you today.

My mind comes up with the weirdest shit when I’m neither asleep nor awake. I thought of an AU where both Kylo and Hux are abroad with their university, and Kylo asks Hux to stay on with him in Milan (who know why my mind picked Milan) after the trip is over.

It’s not really a secret that Kylo likes Hux. Hux doesn’t like Kylo in return, but figures he might as well take advantage of the easy-to-manipulate guy. I mean, a free holiday in Milan? Yes please! And Kylo even booked joining rooms because he’s hopeful something will happen but hadn’t admitted his feelings to Hux yet (he doesn’t realise how transparent he is), so it’s not like Hux has to sleep with the guy. He can just keep an artful distance.

Of course, Hux would end up falling for Kylo. The ten day break would end up changing things between them. Against his better judgement, Hux can’t help developing feelings​ for the pathetically eager to please guy.

When Finn suddenly leaves Galactica for Skywalker Racing, Snoke's team takes on unpredictable rookie Kylo Ren. Already frustrated at having been passed over for the job he wants, race engineer Hux is unhappy when he finds out that he has to work with an amateur who is as renowned for his unpredictability and recklessness as he is for winning races. Snoke expects them to win the championship, but with a loose cannon like Kylo Ren in the team, how can they expect anything other than failure?

So here’s the weird AU I was worrying about yesterday! It’s a very short first chapter and I hope you enjoy it if you read it (and please don’t worry if you don’t know anything about Formula One - I'm going to focus on Kylo and Hux more than anything else!).

1. What would be your job in Star Wars (Jedi, Sith, Empire officer, smuggler…..) Some sort of support role, probably. Data, medic, etc.

2. Who is your favourite character in Star Wars? I feel bad saying this, but Hux.

3. Is there a story/drawing (fandom related or not) you’d like to write/draw but never had the opportunity (yet)? SO MANY! Yes. Lots. Lots of kylux (so much kylux), but also a novel. It’s all planned out, I just need the courage to start writing...

4. What is the colour of your lightsaber? Probably blue. I get blue on those test things, and my first pair of lightsaber chopsticks were Luke/Anakin’s blue ones, followed by Kylo’s a few years later.

5. What is your favourite song/music? I listen to a lot of soundtrack stuff, and usually have either Ludovico Einaudi or Lindsey Stirling on, but Not In Love by Crystal Castles is one of my favourite songs.

6. What phone do you have? Motorola G4

7. You live in this galaxy far, far away. What is your favourite means of transport? Probably a speeder or something.

8. When is your birthday on Tumblr? My actual birthday is at the end of July, whereas tumblr...? This sideblog has been around since Dec 15/Jan 16.

9. What is your favourite place? I like being in forests so I guess those are my favourite, but the Val de Mello in Italy is just... wow. Stunning.

10. What is your first fandom/ship? Umino Iruka and Hatake Kakashi from Naruto. And I secretly still ship it. Fuckin Iruka uuuugh my one favourite who didn’t die thank you Iruka. (Also this fic is good, although hella nsfw with a ton of BDSM in it.)

11. What animal would you like to be? Well I think elephants are really wonderful and all, but I think I’d like to be an otter.
