Apologies for neglecting Lucy, my muse for her had toddled off somewhere and I am trying to find her!
I am happy to write pre-established relationships!
Even if it was just our muses meeting in a supermarket queue.
If you want my discord, send me an ask.
When you want to have an interaction that would make your muse's crush jealous because you are an awful human being.

Considering she was a woman who looked nearly ten years younger than she was and had a pair of horns growing above her eyes, one would think Lucy would appreciate that staring was not often a good thing.
Wrong.
Rather, Lucy had stopped in her tracks and persisted in staring at the machine. Sure, she and Raynold had watched cartoons about giant robots when they were kids, but this, she needed someone to pinch her.
@psychiatriae
Not wanting to draw attention to herself, or rather the small horns that protruded from her forehead, Lucy kept her head low. All so well and good, except she wasn’t exactly looking where she was going. Inevitable, she collided with someone, luckily, it was less of a clash and more of a stopping in his path rather than getting out of his way.
“Opps!”
“S-sorry!” Lucy began, looking up at him, completely forgetting about her low-profile-horn plan.
@sanguinetactics
Her vulnerability to the sun seemed to have gone, be it because of it being fake or because of the process of her being brought to the city, either way, it seemed unfair that her horns remained.
“Does this mean I’m human again?” she mused, leaning forward and studying her reflection in the window of a shop, trying to see past the glare of the sun’s reflection.

“Really? Why would people want to kill him? Seems a bit extreme…”
“Hell if I know. Could be a variety of reasons, but it doesn’t concern me so I stay out of it.”
“You’re not in the least bit curious?”

“I want to stay angry…but …I’m mostly just tired.”
“Anger in itself is a tiring emotion and it’s rarely worth it.”

Trapped in a city that she never knew existed after ‘dying’, unable to say goodbye to her brother and safe in the knowledge that some lunatic deity was driving around in her body and what does Lucy Berger do?
She attempts to save a kitten stuck in a tree.
With a quick run up, she bounced into a low branch and began to climb.
“Why did you get up here in the first place?”

“Oi, oi. You over there, with the horns.” His voice, while calm… was not very soft in the least. Not at all, it was like two of him were speaking at the same time, and boy what a sound that was.
“Can I help you?” He was certainly a sight, but after some of the things she had seen both in and out of the city - her pentahorn form was quite something to behold. None-the-less, his strange voice was something new.
“We had a president? Ah, past tense, since that guy is gonna die anyway. I hear people have been lining up for his head for at least a couple of years now. Must have been a terrible officiate if so.”
"Really? Why would people want to kill him? Seems a bit extreme..."
"You are certainly the kind looking sort."
Lucy couldn't help but be suspicious. It was the mask. Not to mention she had never once in her life been told she was kind looking.
"Am I?"

“Boxing for fitness? Common thing nowadays.. Fortunately he learned how to defend himself.” Everybody assumed Akihiko was going to be a prizefighter too, but he’s shifted goals, it seems.
“Sounds like you come from an interesting world. Though…no need to blame yourself for other people’s desire to help. You probably know it’s hard to put into words just how strong feelings for someone like your brother might be. You’d do the same if you could.”
He didn’t know whether to be flustered, or flattered. He felt the same about another energetic young girl he met a bit ago.. That partially pushed him to making the decision himself.
“..Thanks, I thought so too.”
Akihiko would return the smile in turn, his eyes closed cheerfully. She was really…easy and comfortable to be around.
“It was lucky, in the grand scheme of things.”
“It was my fault though, if I hadn’t become...this...well I suppose Ra had plans for him any way. I thought, at times, that he was dead. I gave up on him.
He never gave up on me though.”
Though she had only just turned fifteen and terrified. Could anyone be surprised at her poor choices? Could anyone blame her for choosing life as a deman over a painful death after witnessing the death of her boyfriend and friends?
“Just don’t give yourself a nickname like ‘The Crimson Knight’ or anything~”
Lucy said with a chuckle. She felt it too, that she could lower her walls, be honest and open with him despite how dark her past.
“Should we get something to eat?”

there’s a certain level of caution one needed to take in this city. on the one hand, there were plenty of people who wouldn’t blink an eye at the presence of something other than human. on the other, there were plenty of people who’d turn and stare, spit quiet insults, or at the very worst, get violent. even those minding their business might not have been safe, and it was a gamble as to who could be a friend and who could be a problem.
today was lucky enough to be the second option, even though it might not have been ideal. he’d overheard the couple, sitting at a table in an outdoor cafe being not-so-private about their conversation detailing their discomfort at the girl with horns sitting a few tables away.
within a few moments, akira had taken a glass of water from a nearby waiter, taking no heed in spilling its contents over their table.
“sorry,” he says, his intent clear despite his words, “my hand slipped.”
there’s a few moments of outraged stammering before the couple stands up from their seats, walking away with a huff. and with a proud smirk, akira takes the seat in their stead, stacking their plates and setting them neatly aside for the waiter. even though there are plenty of eyes on him, he still turns to the subject of the couple’s conversation.
“sorry,” akira said again, this time clearly more sincere. “figured i’d help clean up the place. sorry if you had to hear any of that. i’m sure you’re used to it by now.”
@demanicthorns
It had taken all her nerve to remain in her seat, her eyes fixed upon the contents of her cup. Sadly, she was used to it. Even in her own world, people were a constant reminder of the choice she had made over six years ago.
Neither human or believer, she was an outcast. Even here it seemed.
She was used to it. Almost numb, yet just feeling enough of the sting in the words of others.
Lucy had been close to getting up, tired of having to keep up the wall that stopped her emotions running rampant.
She had watched, never having expected anyone but her brother to do such a bold thing in her defence. For a moment she watched him before lowering her eyes again.
“I’m used to it.” Lucy said, her emotions hidden from her tone. “You shouldn’t have troubled yourself...”
She was grateful, she just didn’t know how to say it. By defending her, he may have caused himself trouble down the road.

She’s not going to look, but she realizes that she really wasn’t entirely alone in this world. Her tails, she could hide, but those horns….The woman, there wasn’t a way to hide them was there? Unless she wore a hat. This place, Hive City is really great for getting people to not feel so….alone. There’s different creatures. Different types of species and she’s grateful.
GO ahead and greet her.
Hansol gives the customer her best smile, “Good afternoon! How may I help you?”
On one hand, Lucy was glad that, for the most part, people were more curious than afraid of her horns. It was certainly better than the fear back home. Yet, on the other, it just served as a reminder of how much she had lost.
New in the city, Lucy hadn’t helped herself by trying to keep herself to herself.
“I was wondering, could I have a lemon green tea?”
