«Inner light» is the series of my art work about overcoming internal homophobia, the understanding of oneself as gay. During a year I was interviewing different guys about themselves, about their understanding of their sexuality, about their memories of the time when they first told themselves: «I am gay» Then I transfered my impressions from these stories on kraft-paper, the most simple paper, which is unable to alienate the viewer. My desire was not to affect the retelling of these personal stories by complex colors and shapes, leaving it to the audience to process.

The white color lacks any judgment about the color, it is the beginning of all colors of the spectrum, and is an allegory of this story - the manifestation and the final dissolution. Black color absorbs all other colors, simplifying and freeing them of the characteristics and understanding of the values of the images. Simplicity of the canvas, two-tone sketch-art and symbolism leave viewer a space for reflection and continuing dialogue with the storyteller without the presence of the artist.

My wise Dog Mareek

Tonight my wise Dog Mareek suddenly woke up. He was trembling, because we forgot the stories of the girls. Сегодня ночью мой умный Пёс Марик внезапно проснулся, Он вздрогнул от ужаса того, что мы забыли истории о девушках.

How careless of me, I agreed. Я согласился с ним, что был не внимательным.

I kissed him on the nose and calmed him down, promising to start the stories of the girls first thing in the morning. Поцеловал его в нос, успокоив, что с утра продолжим историю о девушках

And only then Mareek fell asleep again. И потом Марик уснул.

I love my wise and mindful Dog. Thus begin 7 short stories about the girls and their "Inner Light".

Люблю своего умного и заботливого Пса. Начинаем 7 коротких историй «Внутреннего света» девушек.

Remembering words of my Guru-Dev . His words appeared in my memory last winter and since then the story has started. Jay mother Kali! «Look ! This is a dog. She can't stay no were , everyone chaste her away . Look this is dog. This is caste of untouchables - Shudra. But this is only from one side, on another side this is a God! And God can be everywhere. As everywhere is a god Shiva!» (i don't remember all his speech exactly , so trying to be very carefully with explanations ) On this page of mine, you can see all history of my dialogs with other people about understanding yourself. All guys i talked to was very different , but with some the same history of our life's .

По воспоминаниям слов Гуру-Дева. Они явились в моей памяти этой зимой, с них всё и началось. Джей Мать Кали!

«Посмотри, вот это собака. Ей нигде нельзя быть, её отовсюду гонят. Посмотри, вот это собака. Эта ката неприкасаемых, Шудра. Но только с одной стороны! С Другой стороны это Бог! И ёй везде можно. Как всюду и во всём прибывает Господь Шива!»

(Я не помню дословно каждое слово, поэтому был придельно аккуратен)

На моей странице можно увидеть всю эту историю, в той последовательности разговора с самим собой, в результате диалога с другими ребятами. Они были разными не похожими друг на друга, но с какой-то одной нашей общей историей.
