by far one of the most entertaining aspects of we are is that at the beginning none of the characters are technically in the same genre. tan is in an enemies to lovers romcom. fang is in a family romance drama. q is in a slice of life show. toey is in a drama romance with a secret admirer subplot. chain is in a classic friendship sitcom. pun is not aware he's in a show. phum is in a 'traumatized soft protagonist that seems harsh learns to love again' show. peem is in uni.

daon would've almost certainly have waited for suhyun if he'd been asked. the fake-dating thing complicated things but still. he would've waited for him, maybe not seven years, but he would've waited if he'd been asked to.

he wasn't asked to, though, he just got left behind. again. it took seven years until suhyun came back, and not for the better.

so of course daon would be wary to go overseas. be ready to sacrifice it for seonghyun. of course seonghyun doesn't want that, he's more than happy to wait. he offers, he means it. they talk about it. of course daon reassures it's only one year. they talk about it. they TALK. communifuckingcation guys.

I have got to talk about Wine's book shelf because what is going on here? This man doesn't speak english well but he apparently does read english incredibly fluently; and he reads German and Swedish as well

-He likes intense historical novel and reads some very heavy and wordy books.

-A lot of these books are 2nd or 3rd books in long series, suggesting he's read the whole series.

It's truly an insane collection but here are some title highlights:

-Chameleon Man: (in English) a very bad pulp novel about a man who- you guessed it- has chameleon powers

-Private Dancer: a novel about the underbelly of sex tourism in Thailand

-Demelza: (in English) book 2 of 12 in the very wordy historical series, Poldark

-The Furies: (in English) book 4 in an 8 book historical series spanning 200 years of an American dynasty

-The Taming of Ryder Cavanaugh: (in English) A sexy historical romance 😏

-Tisdagsklubben: (in Swedish) A novel about a middle aged woman reinventing herself after her husband's affair

-Die Glasblaserin: (in German) A novel about a young woman trying to make a name for herself as a glassblower after the death of her father

-The Lighter Side: (In English) A weird syfy novel collection

And that's not even all of them. Even if some of them are Jay's I still have so many questions

the thing with the milk allergy that pisses me off so much is that faifas mother had to know at some point. it's not something he feasible could've hid. when you're a kid and you're allergic you find it out by being sick and most often getting it confirmed by a doctor. his mother was there. he's been living with his mother until recently. she knew. she had to have been there. she just doesn't care. she cares SO little that she FORGOT.

i can't get over that. that's your child. the allergy isn't new. she can't be bothered to think about his allergy. she was there when he got it, she was there when he had it- he's been living with her nearly all his life. and she tries to give him milk. that's insane. do y'all get how insane that is? food allergies impact every meal you have. how many times has he drunk milk to appease his mother? how many times has he made himself sick because she can't be bothered to remember that faifa. is. allergic. to. milk. i'm seething so hard.
