one of my absolute favorite scenes from episode five was yok being the first one to get back in place after being devoured by the fog of manipulation. it shows that she really is the rhythm of the team. that she started hitting the drum once again to gather her people up and continue the ritual until her hands bled. she is so fucking cool.

it's been a few days but i still cannot get over how niran had to take a walk and ruminate on this huge life-altering decision to bind his whole soul and life force to a new friend he met like last month, and one of his conclusions was that this might be one of the worst decisions they ever made, that pete will probably get angry at him for forcing this bond on him,

and then we cut to pete who did not have a choice, who got his soul bound without proper explanation, and what he hears is that niran did this to save him, and immediately he concludes that this is fine. niran would never hurt him so soul binding is no big deal👍
