i am an idiot sometimes but sometimes i am an idiot to be funny you know? for the joke. and i want people to know the difference. sometimes my actions are purposeful. sometimes i think. i want you to know that. even when i am just being a regular idiot i choose to say things knowing i am an idiot. i am the chooser of my own fate. i am the god of my own reality.
Fergal resides in the West side of Evergreen, in a mid century modern style home, though he's amended a few things like bedroom windows to his own liking. The home comes off as eclectic once you enter, as Ferg isn't the type to stick with one particular style. He's got a love for art, which is shown throughout the home with various paintings and framed photos in every area imaginable.
The living room is warm, with rich colors of brown leather and navy upholstery inviting you to curl up with a blanket and watch the rain fall out the large picturesque window. A large TV with open shelving takes up the wall opposite the couch, plants and family pictures making a home there.
His bedroom is a sanctuary for him, one of the few places he's kept light and airy in an attempt to get good sleep, though that's not always in the cards for the man. He likes to close himself off from everything and read a book by the fireplace in the winter. A large walk in closet adjoins the room, surprisingly well organized with a large collection of jackets and shoes, each item with its own place.
The master bathroom is sleek, with black and rich wood accents, a large glass door shower taking up most of the room and a natural stone bowl for the sink. Not much litters the counters, as he likes to keep the bathroom pristine.
The kitchen seems barely used - Ferg doesn't do a ton of cooking but he still enjoys the space, the modern look a small nod to his years lived in Japan. A glass kettle sits nearby the stove, with a tin of bagged tea next to it; his most used items. A small wine rack with a few rare bottles is mounted on the wall near the fridge, more of a collection to talk about than drink. If you peeked in the fridge, you'd find fresh produce in the vegetable crisper, an array of condiments and sauces, some bottled drinks and some containers filled with leftovers.
The last two rooms in the home are Ferg's favorite - a small office with a computer for when he's got the occasional email to tend to, or is feeling artistic and wanting to draw or create. There is a small stash of vinyl in this room, and another comfortable chair with a stack of magazines & books on a wooden table in the off chance he feels like relaxing here.
The room across the hall is organized to the extreme. Open shelving here houses lego figurines and wwe action figures. There are labeled bins filled with lego pieces, floating shelves placed above have finished builds, including a large pirate ship and some star wars pieces. There is a large table with a padded chair on one wall, open lego boxes and unfinished models taking up most of the space.
Lastly, in the home's garage, is a workout area that Fergal has put a fair bit of time and money into. Though he enjoys a public gym, this area is just his to do as he pleases. Free weights, a punching bag, elliptical and small stationary bike take up most of the space, with boxing gloves, resistance bands and other workout gear hanging along a small peg board. Most free time not building lego is spent here, with the garage door open on nice days for fresh air and a view. Hidden in a small storage shed are some tools, with a paddleboard, skateboard and bike mounted to the wall nearby.
