wow leave it to seth and dean shenanigans to get my ass back on this dead blog, anywho, unpopular opinion time but their reconciliation really doesn’t need to include roman because it’s not about the shield, specifically it’s about those two individuals and their baggage. if we’re speaking in kayfabe here, roman moved the fuck on. dean never did. seth’s betrayal ended up defining dean in almost everything he did later on. roman became much more shaped by the negativity, and fans reception of him, not by seth’s dismantling of the shield. which also, by the way, only skyrocketed roman’s career (while dean squandered off in the midcard, completely eclipsed by both roman and seth)
whine all you want, but dean and seth DESERVE to have this moment BETWEEN THEM. roman doesn’t need to be a part of it right now, he doesn’t need to be dropped to the midcard to fight for the tag team belts when hes in the league of lesnar.
not to mention, in order for a good and proper “shield reuinion” to happen, dean and seth need to get past their bullshit, making this entire excursion completely necessary in the long term.
