I really don't understand how he keeps up with sort of thing.  I completely forgot about this until this evening.

Hello again.

I forgot about this again.  The Boy keeps reminding him, but it always seems as if something comes up whenever I sit down to do anything on this.  He does not believe me when I tell him this.

I called in on a favor from a couple of guys I know to help with our latest case.  They're brothers and they been "in the business" longer than I have.  Good guys, even if their banter gets on my nerves sometimes, but on the other hand, it is nice to have a couple of competent marksmen watching your back.

We ended up tracking down the thing that was hacking its way through the area.  I wasn't expecting to find a manananggal so far from its native habitat.  Freaking weird-ass crap is going on lately.  Days like this makes me wish they would take Inoue's recruitment attempts more seriously.  I.M.P.S. could us them.

Anyway.  Time to grab some beers with the brothers before they head out.

I have no idea how the Boy keeps something like this updated.

Seriously.  He updates his blog thingy constantly and I have problems updating it more than one a week.  Of course, if I, like him, had nothing else to do with my life then I,too, could most likely find the time to update on a daily and often hourly schedule.

Last night...

Did not go as planned.  My captain called me in on a case.  It was gruesome and unpleasant to see.  Whoever or whatever did it still hasn't been caught and I'm only home for sleep, but I can't so here I am.  So much for a nice evening and a day off.

The boy understands, but I don't think he much appreciates it when I have to ditch him for work.  I'm sorry, A.  I'll make it up to you.

Ugh.  I hate saying that.

Wash... ick out of nice-ish mock turtleneck - hope that it's salvageable.

Follow up on Case# 148 - speak with new housekeeper.

Finish report on Case# 148 - have ready by Monday, lunch.

Go to store - track down foundation in appropriate tone.

Be ready at 5:30pm for boy.

Wait for an hour and a half 'til he shows up.

Have fun this evening.

Edit:  Get called in on a case involving someone's death and small bit of human parts scattered through a yard.

Hi.

I'm Jess.  I... hunt demons for a living and other than that I lead a rather dull life.

My parents are insane, my siblings even more so.  My dad is a college professor and my mom stays at home hence why she's crazy.  Dad is really only loony because he's always studying.  I'm the oldest of three.  My sister painted my old bedroom bright pink and listens to Ke$ha loudly.  I find her irritating. My brother plays the bass guitar and is generally mopey.  I assume he's emo.  Neither of them have proved me wrong.

I work with some interesting people and have a boyfriend who blogs about random things.  I like vanilla bean lattes and neat weather phenomenon.  I think if I didn't hunt and police demons, I'd be a storm chaser (just not a stormtrooper. Those guys can't aim worth beans)
