However, when people are like actively stealing our plot points for their blogs then it’s a little disheartening. Especially when we’re looking at being more active.

//OOC: Hey! I figured y’all deserved an update. You’ve probably noticed I’ve been posting a lot less stuff recently - mostly just asks and character interactions. I haven’t been doing a lot of the ‘Only In Gotham’ style stuff anymore - which I promise I will get back to! Essentially: I’m not doing too good mentally rn. My brain’s being an asshole and I’m really just...drained.

I’m very bad at self-care but I’m trying to put myself first. So for that reason, I’m going on a semi-hiatus. I don’t know how long it’ll last or when I’ll be posting but I will try to keep posting original stuff! Like how I’ll try and post some stuff for Jason’s birthday! GUG is currently going through what has been dubbed ‘angst August’ which is fine! Everyone’s being really creative with it! But I can’t mentally cope with that rn. As such, none of my blogs ( @h-arleen-q-uinzel , @demonic-bodyguard , @not-so-local-exorcist , @starfish-in-a-jar @all-arrows-point-to-home @tiff-the-tumbler @magic-in-wonderland ) will be overly active. Or anything I do post probably won’t be in direct relation to any other character events. I’ll probably post something saying what everyone was up to at the end of the month to try and make up for it!

It’s rude and extremely disrespectful. I get this blog has a decent amount of following but that doesn’t give you the right to send stuff like that - especially to people in this AU who are underage and rping as characters that are underage. //OOC Hey everyone!! I wanted to make a quick statement here, and I think bringing back this old announcement will help. I will acknowledge that recently we have brought some NSFW content into this AU. However, every admin involved was consulted, we have never been explicit instead staying mostly under the guise of innuendos, we have ensured proper content warnings were placed, and we would stop in a heart beat if any of our followers were uncomfortable with it. Here’s the problem: some of you have decided to take this as an invitation to send incredibly sexual asks to some of our admins, as well as calling the characters derogatory names. I have said this before and I will say it again: I do not give a shit if you think you are being funny. I do not give a shit if you are being “in character”. I do not give a shit if you are trying to be “in on the joke”. If you think that is acceptable behavior in any way, then you can leave right now. Make sure you're doing it because the kids need a better role model. Someone they can trust. They can feel safe with. Be ready for the emotional weight that will be added to your own. Tougher. Mostly just being there for her will be the big thing. Take her out for treats when she does good. Offer your shoulder to cry on when she needs it. It's going to take time to build it up, but by consistently being a figure she can look up to you can do it <3
