Theory! Vox and his followers were standing in water when the tv fell and killed Vox. It killed his followers, so what if the sinners shown in Trust Us were his in life who died with him? After he gained power he might have found them and regained their trust to join him once again.

Vox was so obsessed, so in love with Alastor he was ready to take out half of pentagram city and the two of them. He was crying he was so lost in his delusional state.

It was so one sided and he never accepted it. Toxic in life, toxic in Hell. Vox was already a ticking time bomb when Alastor started to toy with him.
