Very interesting article in January's Essence magazine. Is your hair holding you back at work? It's 2014 and it's still not accepted to wear your natural hair as a black woman. I'm not against women who straighten their hair, I just don't think I should be forced to alter mine just to make other people more comfortable. With all the hype about natural foods, natural products etc..why are people still up in arms about natural hair? Now that I have gone back natural, have I determined my fate as a successful black woman????
