Less cool is that they used the "English" version of Koi死 and 流星宇宙 instead of their actual titles but there's nothing we can do about it now.

If you told me back in 2010 when I was messing around in Guitar Pro 5 that one day there will be music that I worked on that will be officially added to streaming platforms, I would say "What do you mean streaming platform? Is Touhou music allowed on iTunes? Did ChaosAngel upload a song of mine? Am I in the big torrent now?"

Most of it is not particularly difficult given the nature of the genre but it's still very cool to see your music translated to a rhythm game. Hi there. It has been a very long time since I last used this account and this post is 5 months late but for posterity's sake I'm doing it anyway.

For the 10th anniversary of the release of my first Touhou post-metal arrange album サングレイザー, I collaborated with my friend Veto (the distant journey to you, Find Your Way) on a full remake of it, now simply titled Sungrazer instead of using katakana.

Just in time for fall season, today I recorded a playthrough of the ending to Autumn Aether, the title track for the album I released early last year.

I originally composed it in drop B along with the rest of the album, but I recently discovered that I could just play it in standard tuning. How convenient! Another thing I recently discovered is the right settings for the tape echo module in Guitar Rig. I hope to use it more often.

I play a lot of DDR these days

I went to Japan by myself again. It was fun!

I bought ~50 CDs at Comiket and even made friends with some of the circles. For those interested: I’m going to start uploading songs I like from those albums to @doujinmusicweekly (which has been gathering dust for months).

It’s nice to look back at my old stuff. The original is a little faster and is in drop C# tuning – in adapting it to my current style, I (of course) brought it down to drop B, made it a little slower, and changed the drums and rhythm guitar to give it a little more variety.

It took me an entire day to get through this song without messing up. I’m mostly satisfied with the end result, but it was such a frustrating ordeal that I probably won’t want to play guitar for the foreseeable future.
