hey people w rain world oc ask blogs. reblog this if you're ok with us sending some in-character asks over. because we are thinking so hard about our ocs. and we want to see content of other people's ocs. and so the optimal way to do both is hit the crossover button
Hello!
So my name is Moss, just the short version pfff, but I prefer that one anyhow.
I am located underground near the void sea, and I'm basically looking for others to talk with! I think I've rested enough today, which also means I can get back to sorting.
But! I also like talking to others still, so, if someone gets this I would love to hear back!

CBS: Your broadcast hit the right place! I can never resist a chance to chat.
CBS: Moss, you said it was? You can call me Summer.
CBS: You live near the void sea? Does that not get dangerous? It eats away at the rocks around it more and more every cycle.
It really is a wonder to both everyone and himself how he has two platonic partners
                iâll admit that iâm a  F O O L  for you.
you  leave  because  you're  certain                       of  who  you  want  to  be.
I DONâT WANT TO BE SPECIAL!                                   I just want to survive.
And yes,
It can be lonely.
But hey!
Do what you will.

"So this is the weather outside of our cans? Horrible, really." Salt finds her corner of... what did he call it? The shelter? and spreads his lwgs forward. It's similar to a can, being a sealed in metal box, but it's way more claustrophobic. She really doesn't recommend it.
This is his first full cycle out of the can. Some crazy bastard had figured it out before and sent a little rat of a beast to bust everyone out of their situations. It's almost impressive how one can train a dim-witted wild animal to do anything if they disfigure its genetics enough.
The world below, outside of his structure, was not really what he expected. It's a different feeling being there than watching it. And in all honesty, she's not sure if he likes it better. At least most of his pain stopped from corrosion! But now her puppet is completely exposed.
To dastardly weather like this.
"It's cold in here," he says. Because it's true. It's an unpleasant feeling and she wants to get it out.

âIf I remember the old constructions maps from when you all were built, they should be south of where we are now. But itâs been a long time, my memory isnât great,â Flesh thought out loud. It had been many cycles since heâd been able to see outside of his can.
Feeling the brush of the cape on his shoulder the iterator turned to his companion. His expression softened. Salt was a lot of things; brash, opinionated, and sometimes very self centered. But they where kind, even if they didnât want you to know that.
The cataloger couldnât help but chuckle. âImpatient are we? It should only last the night. Once the sun rises we can go check on paradox okay?,â Flesh shuffles a bit closer Salt. âUntil then youâll have to spend time with me, how horrible~â
âWell I suppose itâs not much different from the can. Just smaller.â Salt then puts on a look of exaggerated annoyance. âAnd Iâm cramped in here with you. So annoying, really.â
He slides an arm loosely around Flesh, turning her body towards him to sink further into the shelter.Â
âI donât really know what to expect. It already feels so long since Iâve been disconnected. Time isnât automatically counted for me anymore.â
âAnd Iâve seen the horrible things out there. I never thought Iâd have to actually get close to them.â He shivers at the thought. âEugh. Theyâre gross on the cameras.â

Flesh couldnât help but sigh at all the complaining Salt was doing across from him. This was not new behavior from the young iterator, this really was just how they made conversation. But he kind of wished they could talk about literally anything else. This situation was stressful enough already.
Salt was right though, it was cold. However the cataloger could deal with that. A bit of shuffling later he was able to unsnap his cape from the back of his scarf. He then proceeded to through it over to his companion a little roughly.
âIf you stop whining you can borrow that, it might keep the cold away,â Flesh said with a laugh and a playful wink. Leaning back against the cold wall of the shelter he tried to relax. âI suppose weâre lucky that our structures werenât that far away from each other, I wouldnât have wanted to wander alone for much longer then I already didâ
âDo you think Paradox is nearby as well?â Salt canât help but ask. They said it was a fantasy of theirs, to take them to see the stars, standing in the tall grass, above where an overseer could latch on to.
Stubbornly, Salt shuffles away from him, but after a little breeze from the almost shut shelter, she huddles in to the fuzzy cape.
He then half throws the cape over Fleshâs shoulders as well. Itâs his-- they should share it. Plus itâs an excuse to...
Salt shuffles in a bit closer. Theyâre barely touching each other. âHow long do we have to stay in here, anyway? Youâve been out longer than I have.â
It's TMI Tuesday! Ask my muse anything and they'll have to answer truthfully.
AFTER THE EVENTS OF LAST CYCLE, I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE I HAVE FOUND THE TRIPLE AFFIRMATIVE.

T - Teacher - How often do they have to teach others? How do they go about it? How do they learn best? Do they dive in first and reflect later or study the theory of something new before putting it into practice?
brass was quite often giving out advice to their fellow iterators, being the oldest and often serious, they were reliable for others in their local group to ask for a second opinion or what to do about certain things. there wasnt much kidding around and in some situations it was very much appreciated
they learned everything themselves through experience, rather than having anyone to guide them before. i think often they were repriemanded by their city when they did something wrong and got no negative reaction doing something right so that is what they trained themselves on. they were devoted to their ancients, and they wanted to make sure that between the rest of their iterators, things went as smoothly as possible based on what they had learned
