[LOG: 1] = Bad Art???

Booting up Logbook.exe

One of the things that bothers me the most about newer/younger artists. Is the stigmatism of bad art, like subjectively bad art has to be perceived as bad from the beholder. The big issue is that artists have now adopted this perceived view that some art is bad because it doesn't meet studio/popular artists standards. I know what you're thinking --

"How is this bad, constructive criticism is good?"

Well, that's the thing are we helping by holding artists to such a high standards, plus who is making the standard. People in fancy exhibitions taping bananas to walls... to me, subjectively, that's not art. I'm sure many you share that sentiment with me.

"But the art is subjectively bad to a majority."

Keyword the majority, not other artists we don't align to fancy exhibitions and stuff. Because their definition of art haven't changed since DaVinci and Raphael. The irony of this is that those people who praise that art are the ones who don't believe modern-day internet art is new DaVinci.

"But DaVinci and Raphael are masterclass, my art doesn't look like Van Gogh."

YEAH! That's the part people miss. If everyone was DaVinci, art would become awful. The uniqueness of every artist makes so that you'll never see the same style twice that's so cool, in my opinion.

"So, how does this apply to the bad art issue?"

Well, art is subjective but as an artist you should push towards helping the new and young artist cultivate their style, Whenever someone calls their art bad you destroyed a piece of work or a style that cannot be replaced. Which is awful to people who want to get into art. What if that style was comfortable to someone, made them realize they could do art? I feel that as artists, we shouldn't be gatekeeping. "Good art" all art is good from the memes to the masterclass it all shares a part in the diversity of what makes art, art!

Howdy! I was thinking about underrated characters, I've come to the conclusion that background characters are super cool in the Mario Series like Shy Guy is a big one but like the Biddybud or Brolder. They literally are super adorable, but the best to me is Rocky Wrench they literally keep the airships and plumbing working. I should draw one of them for today
