As i mentioned above, I'm a huge movie lover, you can catch me on letterboxd (aik0ruu if you're interested in following ;0). I'm also into art (mostly watching it in art galleries since i last drew/painted months ago, but I still found it fun and calming) and psychology (mostly resocialization aspect, social phobia, anxiety disorders, derealization/depersonalization and depression, there's a lot of topic i'm interested in when it comes to psychology, I'm planning on studying psychology as well)

I would love to start writing again, so I do hope that there will be numerous posts about my writing (both about nothings and on AO3, currently trying to start to write something there, it's been ageees since i last wrote some story...). I've already written three chapters of my interactive Beatles story (apart from the intro, I don't count it because it's already published). Giggling and kicking my feet, I'm so proud of myself, can't wait to post them eeeek (I will most likely publish the chapter with John today, stay tuned😛😛😛)

Everything She Wants - Interactive fanfiction

You'd known John since you started at Liverpool College of Art. You had to admit he was... Quite a unique person. You'd met in one of your drawing classes, where you'd noticed his drawing style was quite distinctive (just like him, but never mind that). Messy lines, dirty pages and rather minimalistic sketches made it, on the contrary, natural for you to become interested in his works and vice versa. Later conversations (i.e., asking him about his homework and whether he could copy it) led you to the moment when you realized you were standing right in front of the cavern building. You were practically doomed, although the upside was that, despite Lennon standing next to you in all his glory, he'd graciously driven you in his car and even carried your art supplies. As fate would have it, you had to paint your loved ones for your final exam, and your parents were too busy to sit still and pose for you for a few hours. So you decided to ask John for help. After all, he could pose for a while, and it always meant fewer people to paint, right? Wrong. Dead wrong. That's how you got yourself into a real mess, because instead of one person, you had to paint four - of whom you only knew one well, the other three being John's bandmates, whom he told you about during the car ride. After all, someone had to pick up your art supplies and drive you, and your mom trusted Lennon the most. If only she knew that daft drove around without glasses while he was blind as a bat… But besides that, he was a good lad. Mostly.

So, I decided to tackle something more challenging than simple one-shots. An interactive story with the Beatles! So far, I have 8 chapters planned, not counting the published intro (of those 8, one chapter is already written ;0). Feel free to comment/leave kudos/bookmark it, I'm open to suggestions and ideas <3 ps. keep it in mind that consand Y/N and Reader usage would be exhausting, so in this story you play a role of original character (might even write a proper introduction, time will show)

All My Loving (1390 words)

It’s been a while since you last had a moment to yourself. At first, whole Beatlemania, girls going feral over a bunch of musicians, then - Beatles breakup. Contrary to appearances, you liked to call it divorce, because it did feel like a divorce. George sprinting to sign papers, fans going crazy, Ringo losing himself and John getting mad at Paul for making it official and public. Whatever he wanted him to do… Not like you really cared, everybody would know about it in no time. You shook your head, as to get it free from old memories, focusing your mind on your current activity - making breakfast. After “The Beatles era” it was… Weirdly calm. George went away, seeking his own musical reawakening, John focused on Yoko, Ringo tried finding himself and Paul… Thinking of him, you looked down on your wedding ring. Right after the breakup of the band, he suggested moving out of your then house. It was still your house, but currently both of you were staying in Scotland - far from others, surrounded by animals and nature in all its glory. You didn’t complain much. Of course, it was definitely something much different than living in Liverpool or London, but you enjoyed staying in bed till noon and reading books in sunlight. Not to mention that you started enjoying sunbaths more and more.

Ever since the Beatles managed to climb the metaphorical ladder to fame, they began to be considered a relatively elite group. Despite organised fan meetings, they remained a closed group - their rehearsals were limited to just the four of them and any companions, including the technical crew. Nevertheless, (Y/N) had been with the Beatles forever. No one remembered the exact moment she'd stuck with them like Velcro, but at the same time, no one could remember a day without her around the boys. Whether it was a concert, a rehearsal, or a trip, (Y/N) had always kept the musicians company. Perhaps no one wanted to remember the exact moment for fear of ruining their relationship; that, too, was difficult to pinpoint. The press, however, remained stubborn, because with every misdeed the band committed, involving a close friend of the band, journalists and intricate fans began spreading all sorts of rumours about (Y/N)'s relationship with the popular group. Over time, people began to suspect that (Y/N) might be a distant relative of one of the band members, which is why she somehow managed to infiltrate the band's closest circle of friends. However, immediately after the rumour went public, others began to suspect a potential romance, with George Harrison being the most frequent scapegoat for the rumours, besides the aforementioned woman. The mere fact that they were frequently spotted by the press in various places only fuelled these suspicions. Candid photos, out-of-context interview comments, and the ironic laughter were endless.

It was a pity that the "secret lover" was always Harrison, but never Starr. Ringo, personally, couldn't be surprised; both the guitarist and the girl spent a lot of time together and talked together during rehearsals, so why would the press suggest Ringo be that secret lover? He wasn't, but... What if? Would (Y/N) be embarrassed? Annoyed? Or perchance... Happy? Was there even hope for that?

This is my first time writing something in English other and much longer than a movie review (so please be understanding...), there's a possibility that I'll rewrite it someday. Maybe someone will read it and actually like it LOL

Magic Christian, grotesque art of 20th century England

Directed in 1969 by Joseph McGrath and losely inspired by Terry Southern's novel, Magic Christian is a comedy film full of twists and turns. Movie follows two men, sir Guy Grand (played by Peter Sellers) and his adopted heir, Youngman Grand (potrayed by Richard Starkey).

The story is based largely on the shared antics of the men, exposing human greed in a relatively grotesque way. To test the limits of human greed, Sir Grand sets sail on board luxury ship, "The Magic Christian," with a large amount of money to lure greedy people who are willing to do the strangest things for cash.

At the end of the film, Grand decides to make the final act of exposing human greed. Guy fills up a huge vat with urine, blood and animal excrement and adds to it thousands of bank notes. Despite their initial disgust, passersby are tempted by the free money and despite being repulsed by disgust, most of them decide to dive into the disgusting combination of liquids just to get their money. This act proves that people, despite unusual situations, are willing to do anything for money.

The film received mostly negative reviews on release, citing its unrelenting and heavy-handed satire of capitalism, greed and human vanities. Despite negative reviews, it is a film that unconventionally exposes human greed and materialism. Personally, I assume that the film, despite its chaotic nature, is relatively current because - let's be honest - many people today would do equally extreme things for money.
