John Greer Person of Interest: The Cold War (Season 4, Episode 10)
John Greer is perhaps the greatest villain in my favorite show, Person of Interest—unbelievably calm, controlled, with a harsh, inhumane view of how to make the world better. And John Nolan (the uncle of show creator Jonathan Nolan and his brother, filmmaker Christopher Nolan) portrayed Greer with such quiet intensity. Greer's character and Nolan's portrayal are two of the many reasons I love the show.
I've been rewatching the show for the nth time. In fact, I lost count of how many rewatches I did because a day is not complete for me without at least one POI episode. Yesterday (a heavy personal day), before I slept, I watched another episode to keep me grounded, and Greer was on it. Then I woke up to the heartbreaking news: Mr. Nolan passed away at the age of 87.
Rest in peace, John Nolan. You will always be remembered.

Today, I realized I shouldn't have left Tumblr years ago.
In real life, I only know a few people who have also seen my favorite show, Person of Interest, and Tumblr is one of the few online places where the show is still remembered and celebrated like it never had a series finale in 2016. I'm over the moon when I saw the almost-overflowing POI posts here.
I need to be here more often again.
