I loved the first episode! I’m so excited about what is to come for Deran and Adrian. I know some people are a bit nervous about what is going to happen but Spencer said it is the best season yet so I have faith that there is going to be some great stuff for them.

What originally inspired you to take on an acting career?
I grew up acting and performing. My first real exposure to acting was through music and theater and it was all about having fun. I have a lot of interests but I always knew acting was I wanted to do. It seemed like a fairly organic transition from a hobby to a career. Obviously there were some scary steps along the way, but it’s a lot easier when you love something.
What are you proud of?
I’m proud to be surrounded by people who challenge me and to have a career doing what I love. I’m not even sure if that’s pride. I mostly just feel really lucky.

Interview:
Growing up, did you have any favorite actors who inspired you to pursue this as a career?
I grew up on action movies. We didn’t have cable when I was little, and as a family, we would absolutely tear through the action/adventure rack at Blockbuster. “Die Hard” was probably the most watched movie from my childhood, and Bruce Willis was, and is, an absolute hero of mine. They say “never meet your heroes,” but when I played his son in “Unbreakable” he was so cool and kind, and it left a really big impression on me. I think my other hero growing up was Matt Damon. Jason Bourne is still one of my favorite characters, but “Good Will Hunting” came out at a time when I was starting to approach acting as an art rather than an activity, and that performance blew me away.
If you were a composition of 3 TV/Film characters, who would they be?
Well, for starters, Julianne Moore in literally anything. My entire life people have been telling me I’m her son, and I’m starting to believe them. I’m pretty crafty and adventurous – I was going to go with Indiana Jones – but it’s probably more like Kevin McCallister from “Home Alone,” or that Brave Toaster, or Aria Stark, or Nemo’s dad.
Who are some of your biggest influences?
My sister is a huge influence on me; we grew up acting together. She transitioned to writing at an early age and is now an amazing playwright and screenwriter. It’s not fair that I had someone so smart and talented to blaze the trail for me, especially when pursuing a career in the arts.

Well we all saw that coming! At least it wasn’t the worst case scenario. Looking on the bright sight: we found out Adrian’s last name, Adrian will probably have quite a big role next season and we will hopefully get to see Deran’s protective side as he is trying to help out Adrian! Bring on Season 4!
