@sanctuary-in-dreams liked this post for a starter with Hisashi
Hisashi was more than happy to spend one of his rare days off at the bookshop around the corner from the apartment. Getting away from Masahiko and Akihiko was just a bonus, really; they might both be intelligent, despite Akihiko's assertions of the contrary, but they were also both insane. Besides, Masahiko was rushing around for his shift that night, and it certainly wasn't something he was interested in sticking around for. For someone who made a living off of his good looks, Masahiko could be very insecure and snappy while getting ready.
Still, this was the life. The shop smelled of books, tea and coffee, the pleasant aromas merging into something calming and just special. It also helped that he had more than enough money from his parents, so he could get whatever books he wanted. Perhaps it was finally time to read some of Akutagawa's works? After all, his roommates had both told him that he should, especially with his taste in the darker side of literature. Rashomon, Hell Screen, A Spider's Thread; all sounded promising from what he'd been told. Dark and a little twisted, which was always something that could pique his interest.
As he made his way to the next bookshelf over, eyes scanning the spines for anything else that seemed interesting, a couple already held close to his chest, he stopped. He wasn’t alone in the little aisle the bookcases created, a young lady in a lovely dress catching his attention. He was always a fan of gothic, edgier styles, and it just caught his attention.
“Excuse me, miss,” He began, his voice as calm and monotone as always, but he still felt rather awkward for feeling the need to point it out.
“May I just say that I like your dress?”
