As we make our descent from the fading blue skies and towering palm trees to the yellow of sodium lights on etched stone in the vestibules of the 16th Street BART Station in my new city, I am reminded how blessed I am to have someone to love and to hold; someone who supports me and holds me accountable; someone to remind me daily what I’m living for and working towards. I am so thankful. Thank you @doingthatwrong for showing me @sanfranciscopride and your city. You have helped me liberate myself all the more from the throes of oppression and systemic toxicity. Today reminds me that I’m not that fearful, ignorant little boy anymore.
