One of the reasons I started getting interested in fashion was because of Alber Elbaz. I saw one of his first collections for Lanvin where he constructed dresses only with one seam and I was blown away at the simplicity, elegance and also technical genius of his creations. As much as he makes women look and feel beautiful, he also makes them feel comfortable. He doesn’t like to use restraining corsets in his designs but instead uses elastic waist bands to give the wearer more ease in movement and and as he said, “allow them to eat lunch”! I’m looking forward to what he does next!
